These are eight master musicians - four playing traditional Japanese instruments, three playing modern rock instruments, and one trained in Shingen vocals and piano. They all write, arrange and perform at or above the level of anyone you can name in any genre. They do much more than add old instruments to new music. They take old instruments and music plus new instruments and music and synthesize a new genre that is recognizable from both ends, but much more that the sum of its parts. Added to that, they perform with style and clarity that is irresistible if you love more about music than just what's popular at the moment. Their lack of ego is the final touch. Everything they do is always about the music, never about showing off. -whew- there, I'm done.

The Wagakki Band is filled with great talent. Their YouTube videos are worth every minute in entertainment. If their music was available in mp3 format at a reasonable ($1.25/song) they would develop a big audience in America. Many of us in America spend time walking ,while listening to music, dealing with the health restrictions of covid-19 and its variants. I can afford this CD at $40, but at this price, the band's talents are going to be unknown in America. AVEX should handle this group better than they presently do.

Love their music! 1st purchased album. Their mix of cultural instrumentality, rock/jazz licks, vocals and downright tight performance catches my breath. Of the genre, they're leaders in their field and I hope they break into US markets. At 60, I'd pay serious coin to see them if they tour here in California!!!

I got it for 雪よ舞い散れ (the snow song), ended up liking Clean and a few others just as much...

I would say this is their best album to date and has so many great songs. Was delivered quickly with no issues or damage and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Dear Amazon Team, if you're reading this- please correct the product information regarding this and other discs by Wagakki Band (and other Japanese bands). Or, even better, put photos of the back covers in the descriptions, since this band releases several versions of their albums, sometimes including DVDs or BluRays of concerts and music videos. It would be great to know what exactly this product is before buying it!WARNING- There are technical problems due to the fact that this CD/DVD is authorized for sale in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore only (says so on the back cover, in English)- so why on earth is Amazon selling this in the EU???This is a CD of their third studio album and- what's more important to me- a DVD of their concert at the Nikko Toshogu 400th anniversary. The problem is: if – like me- you watch DVDs on your laptop or PC, and you're in Europe, you'll just be told by your laptop to get a licensed version. I finally managed to persuade the windows media player on my 15-year-old “reserve” laptop that I am currently in Singapore and not in Germany, but you can change the regional stetting only 5 times, then it'll be stuck.Now- about the music: The songs on the album are very beautiful, energizing and each has its own “character”, but they are blended perfectly within the typical style of Wagakki Band. Those guys are really brilliant composers/musicians; can't praise them enough. The concert is even better, comprising 12 songs from their first three albums and- as usual with WGB- adding some extra energy and lots of fun; I'd really love to see them live one day. Especially the instrumental part in traditional style is haunting. Unfortunately, they seem to have cut out some songs in the middle, which is a pity.

Coffret CD et DVD.Reçu aujourd'hui, mis directement en lecture, parfait.Et puis, quelques sauts de pistes sur les dernières chansons du CDEn vérifiant le boitier et le DVD, une trace de doigt sur celui-ci alors que je viens juste de l'enlever.Une trace de rayure sur le boitier, qui est censé être neuf.Bref, j'avais bien vu que le Blister qui entoure l'album était légèrement décollé (du genre la première partie non collante s'est pliée, mais ça n'a pas dépassé sur la partie collée), mais je ne pensais pas que tout aurait été ouvert et touché. A croire qu'il a été acheté, ouvert, copié, et renvoyé.Je mets une étoile pour Amazon, en espérant ne pas avoir de nouveaux soucis de lecture après nettoyage des disques.Mais le combo CD/DVD, quant à lui, vaut clairement ses 5 étoiles !
