Even though I have a lot of good meters at home, none had inrush capability. The D performed very admirably, but as mentioned by many others, the display can be difficult to see in bright sunlight. Still, I liked the meter so much that I wanted a second one. That's where the F model (HT208F) comes in: It's not immediately apparent, but the F is identical to the D except that it has a standard (backlit) LCD display that is visible in bright sunlight. So if this is a concern for you, get the F model. It's a quality meter with features for most everyone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't read in sunlight *by J***Y on July 1, 2022* This is a nice meter, good size, good manual, 3 Yr. warranty, easy to grip, seems high quality, easy to use, lots of functions, nice probes, has a temp probe too. The biggest problem is you can't read the display in full sunlight. I tried to use it to monitor the current of my house, and the main breaker panel is on the south side of my house, can't see the display in bright sunlight. Even shading the display with one hand makes it barely readable. Indoors, the display is very nice, color, viewing angle OK. The clamps are quite large so they are hard to get them around the cables in a full electrical panel with lots of wire. Also the default on current and voltage measurements is DC, I would prefer AC which I'd use it for most of my testing, but that's just my preference.
