Great trip down memory lane for any Baby Boomer, not only Current or former Norman residents!
I just completed reading this book! It was written by a friend that grew up in Norman and now lives in New Zealand! This is latest of three books available on Amazon!Bill was about 3-4 years younger than me, but his dad and my dad worked at the Norman Fire Department together, so I saw him over the years at fire department family gatherings! These books are short stories of his experiences growing up in the 1950’s and 1960’s in the Norman area! If you want a good time walking down memory lane, these books are great! I never laughed so hard just visualizing Bill in many of these stories! The funny part is most of our generation did the same things, at the same places in the Norman Area, but you don’t necessarily need to be from Norman to appreciate this book, any Baby Boomer would!

Bill Moore Delivers Again
You've heard that 'laughter is the best medicine'. And in this 3rd edition of memories from growing up in Oklahoma there is enough medicine to last for decades. These are the kinds of stories you can read more than once and find yourself laughing out loud. We could all use some more laughter in our lives and this is just the right medicine!

The Laughs Keep Coming!
This book is a hit on SO many levels. Just as with the first two in the series, you are going to smile and laugh your butt off through its pages! Bill paints such a vivid picture of life in what was then a sleepy college town and all the chaos we children of the '60s and '70s managed to survive. The book's chapters are self-contained stories, making it easy to read even if you're really busy. And you don't have to be from Norman to appreciate the ambiance of a 1960s-70s childhood for those of us from this era. Ironically, Bill and I never met in our mutual hometown of Norman; it was years later working at a paper in Texas, where he was a TERRIFIC mentor to me as I started my own reporting career. My advice -- grab yourself a copy of this book and the previous two in the trilogy. They will definitely improve your day. Enjoy!

A message and reminder from the toughest generation that walked this earth.
Simply wonderful!I bought this series of books on a recommendation from a friend. Although I have never lived in Norman, Oklahoma or Texas or even America, they appeal to a wider audience including me of Generation X here in London. My mother, aunts and uncles were all boomers and I drew many parallels from Bill’s experiences and theirs.Bill has that rare talent of looking through the eyes of his youth so vividly and articulating it all so well. It’s full of nostalgia, wit, social history and is a heartwarming reminder that life before the explosion of technology, is something we all miss and love. This third installment is equally as good and I’m glad I got to read them all, thoroughly recommended!!
