Got this for my pit boss and it’s a perfect addition, useful when cooking things such as burgers that do better on a griddle

Marvellous piece of kit - fantastic for cooking smaller things or preventing flare-ups. Crisps up fish skin a treat, too. I now use it all the time when cooking outdoors. I only gave it a four because of the laws of physics, really - cast iron is heavy and needs a good scrub afterwards. So maybe not suitable for the frail or fragile BBQ-er.

You can make lovely smash burgers & with it being a semi circle you can move your chosen protein on to the grill for a flame grilled burger

I do love this product, does what it should, but given the price that is to be expected. My criticism is that it’s hard to clean and look after, though that is probably the nature of the product. With hindsight I wish I had gone straight for a soapstone equivalent from the off. That being said it cooks a mean burger and is really handy sectioning my kamado joe

Excellent, heavy duty griddle. Does a wonderful job on steaks and the smooth side is great for browning wings.

I like the cast iron in the Joe and this arrived faster than The aus distributor who shall not be named could get it, by about 14 months!

It's a nice griddle that fits perfectly in the Kamado Joe Classic II (2017) model. Have used this multiple times and it's been great each time - scallops on this are particularly amazing! Some additional tips: 1) It DOES need to be seasoned first (there's a good vid on KJ's youtube channel to show you how and it's easy). 2) It's a nice cast iron piece that can serve multiple uses because of the dual sides (raised grooves and flat griddle). 3) It cooks nicely and I would recommend it if you want cast iron, however this is also another viable option -- the Little Griddle Kettle Q is a stainless steel griddle that would also fit. Although it's not cast iron, the Little Griddle K-Q has a couple advantages: it has a drip lip to catch drippings so they don't drop down into your fire and it doesn't need to be seasoned, however it is slightly more expensive ($68 vs $50). I'd decide between those two options - you really can't go wrong with either.
