VTT OBD-Lock ODB Port Locking Tool (GM Models ONLY) Version 2

Fits well and was easy to install but had to go on YouTube because no instructions in package?

I have a 2021 Sierra 2500HD AT4. I’ve been seeing how quickly many vehicles have been getting stolen all from the OBD2 port and a tablet. I mean like in 5 minutes or less your ride is gone. That being said, $100 for this is a tough pill to swallow. However some peace of mind is worth it! I’d rather not deal with insurance on a trashed stolen truck worth 100K and get a check for “current market value” from insurance. This port lock is really well made. Great quality and machined wonderfully. I don’t know about version 1 of this product but version 2 is really made of nice pieces and a truly snug fit. I’d imagine if someone wants to steal something badly enough they’ll find a way. This however should slow them down for sure. They’re not going to be carrying the bits they need to get this off that for sure. If they want to mangle OBD2 in the process, they can have fun. Truly a well thought out product and a nice piece. Beats all the plastic ones I’d been seeing no doubt about that. Well done, VTT!!

It was an easy install and made of excellent quality.

Arrived a little beat up. T-Handle has some deep gauges. The Stop decal looks like it’s been wrinkled up and the flatten out. It has some hole in the middle of the decal. For $100 I was expecting better. The aluminum lock looks very sturdy and high quality. Updated 11/29/25 Installed on my C8 2022 Vette with no problems and looks solid. Decal was usable and damage isn’t that noticeable. Increased by 1 star. Note: Seller was willing to replace the decal if I provided a pic of damage and paid shipping for a replacement. I decided to see how it looked installed and just kept. I’d recommend getting this ODB lock.

A snug fit! The “key” is very unique so it isn’t something that can be “picked”. It would be next to impossible for a would be thief to quickly remove this OBD lock without pulling the wires out of the back of the OBD unit.

It’s a cool idea and will slow down a thief but not thief proof. No instructions but it didn’t take rocket science to figure it out. Very pricey for what it is

Was easy to install once I watched the video. It seems to be a good product, I like the red visibility. Seems well made and does the job better than the plastic ones.

I Was in search for an anti theft device for my OBD-2 Port. But i didn’t want no cables to be cut for my obd-2 port. So i found this Product which blocks the OBD-2 port and its pretty Sturdy. GREAT FIT !! No gaps at all in my 2020 Silverado 1500. ONLY WAY THEY CAN TAKE IT OUT IF THEY BRAKE THE WHOLE Port which at that point theres no use . Yes it’s pricey and yes there is some that cost 40$ but this was the fitment that i was looking for. Like i said THIS PRODUCT DOESNT REQUIRED ANY HARD WORK. Took me 5 minutes to install . WORTH THE PRICE !

Very tricky to install, but goes on well and would be difficult to remove without the tool!

I bought and installed one of these OBDII Locks about 5 weeks ago. In the last few days someone tried to steal my car from Melbourne Airport under cover parking. They spent quite some time trying to get past the lock, going by the amount of damage to it. But they were unsuccessful! When I bought it, I thought the lock was way over priced for what it is, but it has paid for itself.

A little expensive, but great quality. A bit fiddly to install but worth the effort.
