Archer Farms Monster Trail Mix 36 oz (2lb 4oz.)

This stuff is delicious as-is, with a great balance of salty and sweet. It does, however, have a lot of candy in it: M&Ms (real ones), chocolate chips, peanut butter chips. Our solution is to mix in more nuts and/or fruit. I think of this as "trail mix concentrate." For the first attempt I added Brazil nuts and dried cherries. My husband added almonds and dried cranberries to his. I bought two more jars, plus a big bag of peanuts (salted and roasted), and mixed those together to create three jars of a less-sweet version. Monster mix is pretty expensive, but it's dense. Peanuts are cheaper, so "diluting" the Monster mix with them reduces the cost, overall. Anyway, if you like it, but it's too sugary for you, get creative. A note about the "best by" date, since people always want to know - when my two jars arrived they had 11 months left before their "best by" date. They were in perfect shape, and the mix tasted very fresh.

This Monster Trail Mix is Absolutely the best Trail Mix I have ever tasted. I would highly recommend this product to anyone! I will be buying it again soon. Thank you, Kim D.

This is delicious trail mix but is extremely overpriced. Order it online for curbside pick-up at your local store. You will save a lot of money!

Delicious. Peanut butter chips mixed with peanuts and M&Ms are a salty/sweet lovers dream come true (for a reasonable price).

I sent this to a couple of my family members when I saw a comment that they loved trail mix and were about to run out. I then texted them, and they were happily eating it! Somebody had said it was too sweet but my kids did not mind at all. Good! Just what I hoped. They loved it!

Finally not all melted together !!! I ate it all already lol but when I bought the bags it came melted so I’m so happy this didn’t !!

Took all 2 lbs of this trail mix on a 40 mile, 3 day hike to Mt Rogers (tallest mountain in Virginia) and it went fast. It was the favorite trail snack of many options of the three guys on the trip. Very slight salt with great, fresh ingredients. One of the best such mixes I've found.

I love the product and order it all the time. It arrived on time and no issues there, but this time, it came half melted together so it is barely edible. There is probably some blame on shipping and the weather, but still only getting 1/2 of the product to eat is a little disappointing...
