I really like these fans, but the controllers are lacking.
These fans are awesome, but the controller has multiple issues with running two or more hubs. These controllers need to run on their own separate molex cable and not a molex daisy chained as one hub will lose connection randomly. The best way to correct this is to purchase the 9 connect port offered by Thermaltake, but this removes your ability to use TT RGB Software to control individual fans.

AVOID THERMALTAKE RGB
If you're doing an RGB themed build then stay away from Thermaltake. I hate to say it but I've never been more disappointed in Thermaltake. I run a thirty year old computer repair shop and I've faithfully used standard Thermaltake products for many years with pride. I will no longer offer anything from Thermaltake at my store nor will I ever purchase anything for stock from them ever again. All manufacturers these days offer such similar products that the support and reliability are ultimately what separate them. Thermaltake has failed us miserably. To go in the View 31 RGB Dual Tempered Glass case we have gone with the Thermaltake UX100 RGB CPU Heatsink/Fan, a 16GB Thermaltake TOUGHRAM kit, a Thermaltake RGB 750W TOUGHPOWER Grand Series PSU. We were planning on using the pre-installed Riing 14 case fans that had factored into our purchase decision originally, but after two RMA's for the included fan controller (the original had brightness issues that were NEVER resolved, the first replacement they sent was just the incorrect part, second replacement changed nothing) and zero solutions we upgraded to the aftermarket Pure Plus 14 RGB Premium three fan kit and controller because I'm pretty reasonable and loyal. Nice fan kit by the way, but it would only be appropriate if it was to be your ONLY RGB feature. There is no syncing between all of these products despite Thermaltake expressly boasting that there is. After the email thread from support reached 25 emails and after we have spent hundreds of dollars and after several hours of labor troubleshooting and after we have tried motherboards from multiple manufacturers on both the Intel and AMD platforms, we have decided to warn everyone we can to stay away from Thermaltake RGB products.

Good for the price, but unusual RPM control
Please be aware that there are ore than one model of fan covered on this page. There are the RGB version and the single color versions. My review is for the Green CL-F110-PL14GR-B single color model. Testing was done with the fan mounted outside of a case. Accuracy of my numbers is probably about +- 5%.Overall a decent fan for the money. Good color, brighter than the Corsair ML140 PRO. Quite quiet with a mid-range hum that only shows up when the percent PWM output goes beyond the maximum RPM of the fan. For example, one fan reached maximum RPM (at 1440 RPM) at about 96% PWM with an almost in-audible hum. As the PWM percentage goes up from there so does the the hum although the RPM does not increase. Since you will rarely if ever run the fan for any prolonged period at these rates I don't consider it an issue. The most interesting result and the reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the PWM range. Typically a fan reached it's minimum RPM at 20% PWM and remains at that rate below 20%. Both of the Thermaltake fans I tested bottomed out at about 40% at a little over 500 RPM. The manufacturer specifies a 500 to 1500 RPM range so the actual range is right in line with the spec but a minimum RPM at 40% PWM is unusual.Based on that finding I don't think that I would use these in a build. And if ultimate quiet is your goal the minimum RPM of 500 is rather high. Still, for the price quite acceptable.

Just what I was looking for
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a name brand rgb fans in 120mm size for my new Cooler Master Masterbox NR600 which could hold up to 6 120mm fans that was ARGB and compatible with older motherboards via the controller. Thermaltake Pure Plus 12 was the best choice for me after researching Rgb fans on youtube. I was looking at the uphere brand but a few factors ruled them out.Pros:- Adjustable Fan speeds from 500-1500rpm- Looking good while moving some air keeping my temps down.- Can adjust colors via software on the desktop or App.- Installation very easy and I like the fact that only one cable is needed to connect the fan to the controller. Long cables too.Cons:- Kinda pricey at $58 for 3 fans and a contollertwo sets of fans cost more than my new computer case at $69 LOL- Fans must be brought in packs of 3. I was looking to mix and match buy two 140mm for top exhaust.- App on the phone can not control fan speeds you have to manually do it from the desktop.- Some of the RGB effects doesn't sync properly even though two controllers are bridged together no way to have all 6 fans copy the master or first fan.- Molex Power connector for the controller lucky mines had 3 that came with my Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 500w.But overall for the value of the Pure Plus 12 is pretty good compared to other 3pack fans from coolermaster or and the ring plus 12 premium edition. I might be bias as I dont like the ring plus 12 over the pure plus 12.

Make sure to install it the way you want to air to flow
Was cheaper than a non led fan, little louder than some others but it was a cheap replacement for a bad fan

ThermalTake is my choice for RGB Fans
Cheaper and easy to use compared to the rest of the brands.

Me gusto pero son super ruidoso comparado con el resto de ventiladores que tengo
los conecte solo un dia caluroso para ventilar rapidamente el gabinete, pero no me gusto el ruido
