This is just what we needed. Protection from coyotes at night and easy to recharge if needed by cord if not enough sun! No more rushing out in the am or at sunset to open and close the coop. Thank you ! Well worth it!

We purchased this on Aug 20th, and installed it Aug 20—the door quick working Sept 22. The battery was dead, and will not take charge. There is no way to replace the battery. They should have made this possible by having the ability to exchange batteries.

We installed this unit for 1 of 4 coops we have, and it seems to open no problem everyday but seems to not want to close until super late. We have to put 2 of the 4 coops away manually still and I need to close this door manually often. The sun will be down, the light sensor on the unit says 00 as in no light, even with a spotlight above it (not sure if it's causing an issue but since the light sensor says zero, I imagine it's fine) and door stays open when the setting is for 40% light out. Otherwise, unit works great, love that I don't have to open and prop doors open every morning anymore. If the light sensor issue could get fixed it would be a 5 star. We are going to adjust it to time closing instead so we don't rely on the light, and it should work just fine then.

Exactly as expected. Very easy to install! Love it and now all our friends want one too!

Almost 30 days to the minute and it stopped working. I tried to get replaced but because it was 31 days “SORRY!!!! “. Yeah. You may get a decent one, but it ain’t this

Does not open, screws loose, doesn’t catch door to open. Hasn’t opened once, just clicks. The predator sensor also detects human so while testing you have to stand out of range. Do not buy.

The media could not be loaded. For the price point, this is a decent purchase.- works as advertised- can set to a time to open and close or for a certain amount of time after the sun comes up or goes down- charges quickly on the first charge- easy to assemble, instructions are easy to understand- easy to enter settings- I wish the port for the charger to plug into was located in a different spot but it's working for us- has an anti-pinch feature to keep the girls from getting closed in the door- you can manually open or close the door. it stays open or closed for about 10 mins then returns to where it was initially- has other settings that I haven't explored and probably won't needIt's a good purchase if this what you need and can afford. We've had it installed for a little under a week and it's working well.
