As expected! We used this as an outdoor curtain for our awning we built. We cut it and hung it with O rings. Works well. I have no idea how it works for painters and absorption of paint but as a curtain it works great, nice, lighter quality canvas material.

Works exactly as described. Much better than old sheets
I use it as a covering to protect from getting paint on the floor furniture etc. It works great. Not too thin not too thick. Easy to spread and fold up.

great canvas but has a middle seam
i used this for a patio curtain. be advised, it has a SEAM down the middle. it didn't bother me, but if you're picky, you might buy a seamless canvas.

Good quality for crafting - seam down the middle
The item description says “seams only on the edges” which I took to mean that it would be a seamless piece of canvas with hems around the outside. It is NOT - the drop cloth I received has a very heavy seam down the middle (running lengthwise). I am one of the many people who buys drop cloths to sew instead of spending tons of money on duck canvas off the bolt. I needed two seamless peices 50x80 which, even after prewash shrinkage, would have come easily out if this canvas if not for the massive unsightly seam down the middle. Otherwise the canvas seems heavy enough and pretty good quality, washed nicely with shrinkage about like expected. I am sure I will use it up in smaller projects eventually but for my current project, I will have to order something different.UPDATE: After writing the review above, I was contacted by customer service and offered a full refund on my purchase. The item description has been updated so that it no longer indicates a seamless canvas. I stand by my assessment of the canvas quality as it is perfectly good for crafting so long as you’re aware of the seam and the expected shrinkage on washing.
