Il Makiage Woke Up Like This Flawless Liquid Foundation, Full Coverage, Matte Finish, 30 ml, Shade 035

Ads for this makeup kept popping up in my social media feeds. I finally decided to give it a try. I almost felt like I was just overwhelmed by the hype of the constant social media ads. It's a little more expensive than brands I normally buy, so I was pretty nervous. This is really nice makeup! I am 66 years old and some other foundations I've tried settle into creases and wrinkles. I This makeup goes on smoothly and seems to skim over those creases and wrinkles. The brand has so many shades to choose from. The one that I selected was perfect. I will definitely be purchasing this product again. I also plan to try other products from tis brand.

I’m the one hesitated to order new products which had commercials on instagram. I took the makeup test they sent me the results. They were right on target for my shade . A couple pea size on your finger covered all my face. It doesn’t feel greasy it’s refreshing because I don’t feel it, I think it’s worth the time and money a true accurate product description and selling points. Also, I think the box it comes in. I returned this after applying foundation to my face. I took the quiz for the correct match. Do not get caught up in the hype or ads regarding this makeup. 1. Applied by sponge to my face. Went on easy until it dried. After it dried it seem to stick to every pore in my face. When I say dry, my look (Face)was Chalky. 2. Decided to apply with Brush. After foundation dried ,it just stuck on my face and did not feel natural. 3. After the first two times, I thought, let’s put this on lightly. So I did, and my face was blotchy in some areas (the foundation). So I returned the product. So I’ve learned not to believe all of the hype of the IL MAKIAGE products and the videos of people who say they use this and look so glamorous after using it.

It feels nice and light, however, it did disappoint in coverage. I had dark spots and redness all could be seen through the foundation. I did a half IL Makiage vs another brand using a green primer. Still could see the dark areas and redness. Overall I really hoped this was as good as advertised. I can not back this product.

I purchased the Il Makiage, Woke Up Like This, base foundation #035. The color was a perfect match to my skin tone. I used a medium flat makeup brush to apply, and it went on smoothly and evenly with a matte finish. I used a finishing powder to set the foundation, but it really isn't necessary, as it dries quickly. It did not feel thick or heavy at all and still gave great coverage. It will not hide or minimize wrinkles, but it will also not emphasize them either. I really love the product and my skin feels great and the foundation lasts all day. I wouldn't worry about the shade number, as long as you stay in the light, medium or dark categories, depending on your skin tone. I would highly recommend this product.

Good Coverage with a natural look

Same product as what's sold on the web page, with easier ordering. This stuff covers really well and stays on throughout the day. Doesn't smudge or rub off easily.

It DOES leave face cakey, BUTTT, ive learned to put concealer on first and then IL MAKIAGE with my fingers instead of brush, this has stopped the cakeyness from forming. Also, before putting compact on, ill get a kleenex and tap it all over face, some foundation DOES get on tissue but it doesn't make face look bad! To wash off you DO have to use soap n water. Otherwise, if u wash with just water, u can feel face thick and idk, oily? So use soap. Other than that, i do like this foundation. Just don't like it was $50
