I love Moleskin books - and needed an address book and was pleased to find this - so many times there is NOT enough room to write all the details you need even with buying ones that have spaces for 'email' added there isn't room. You cannot get addresses on one tiny line in a pocket address book so threw it away and got something bigger. This is a ruled book with no preset spaces so you can write as much or little as you wish and not be restricted or trying to cram in data that you then can't read because you squeezed it in. Seem to have plenty of room - have't used an address book since filofax days, but when trying to organise Christmas cards since the Smartphone and digital reviloution I realised I didn't have any addresses anymore and having moved and need to post cards as I can't 'hand out' cards or anything so have now resorted back to an address book once more and very happy with this. Good Quality, large A5 size to keep at home.

It is a lovely address book with lots of room to write details for each person - not in sections so you can take as much or as little room as you want. Nowadays with e mail addresses etc this is so necessary! It's extremely compact, good value and it has a little "secret" pocket at the back for cards or slips of paper you may want to put away.

Good, sturdy book. I particularly like the elastic keeping it closed. The index letters coukd possibly be a bit bigger, but it's a neat book with plenty of room to write in.

I am very satisfied with the quality... Think and smooth people.... Lots of space and pages to write... Classy appearance.. I made it my address book and it can be last for a long time.

Having looked across the high street for an address book - very hard to find - ordered this one for myself. Perfect - lots of space to write what I need - not just addresses!!! Good quality and great value

This address book arrived well before the date promised. It is fairly large and quite thick. I bought it in black. It has a little envelope in the back for loose papers and also a marker to keep you on the correct page as well as a band to keep the book shut. I am so delighted with it. I replaced my old address book as people either died or moved address, however, the book I replaced it with was too small. This address book has plenty of spaces and room. I like to keep a hard copy of all my addresses. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to keep a hard copy of all the addresses, mobile and email.

Read the reviews, a few negative comments but this is such a useful book for all that information you want to put your hands on. The yellow pages are not a put off - no problem for me. Well constructed book worth every penny.

I've been wanting a new address book for the past year or so. There was nothing wrong with my old address book; I just wanted something that would give me more breathing room, so to speak. I like to include extra data with my address entries, such as a person's birthday, a couple's anniversary, notes about companies I do business with, that sort of thing. Usually I would end up trying to cram this stuff into the margins of my old address book, which got the job done but wasn't very pretty. I also wanted something that was physically a bit larger. My old one was 3"x6", which was considered "medium" size when I bought it, and certainly it was too big to fit in a pocket, but I don't carry it with me so that's not a problem. I decided I wanted something that would allow me to really stretch out and include all the information I want and need, without having to cram it into the constraints that most address books force you to use for each entry. That's one of the beautiful things about Moleskine address books: there are no constraints. The pages are like the pages of a notebook. An address entry can be as long or as short as you want it to be, and can include as many different types of data as you can throw at it. At the same time, it's superior to using a plain notebook because the pages have alphabet tabs, allowing you to quickly find the section of the alphabet you're looking for. Even though it's bigger than most address books, it's not "big" per se: it fits very easily in my desk drawer and takes up only slightly more space than my old address book. The construction quality is excellent. The hard cover is very sturdy; the paper is just the right weight (and is a pleasant cream color that's easy on the eyes); it has a built-in bookmark; and there is a stretchy band of fabric that you can use to keep the book securely closed when not in use (which is great for me because I like to use my address book to store stamps, stickers, and address labels -- they would always fall out of my old address book). There's not much to say about the appearance of the book except to call it "classic." It's a plain, black book. Period. That's it. It's beautiful because of how utterly simple it is.
