Great for coins and seeing little details on things
My husband uses this for his coin collection. It makes it so easy for him to see the details on the coins. This is a fun gadget that works well, is priced very fairly and it's simple to charge.

Neat Device, But No Good For PCB Inspection
This digital magnifier is a fairly nice piece of hardware. It feels well made, the image is clear, and the on-screen menus and functions are all pretty well laid out for a gadget that costs less than $20. Unfortunately the focus on the camera not only can't be adjusted, but is set so tightly that you basically have to have the device pushed up flat against the object you want to look at it. If you're looking at text on a page or perhaps a coin, that's not a huge problem. But anything with a complex surface is very difficult to get into focus. In my case I was hoping to use this for inspecting PCBs, and there's really no way to get the camera in close enough as the body of the magnifier invariably hits something on the board before that point. Plus even if you do manage to get the magnifier in an ideal position, the zoom (even at its lowest level) is much tighter than I'd like. A single 0805 component takes up essentially the entire display, and reading the part number on most ICs involves scanning across the chip. In short, it's just not well suited to this particular purpose. For those who might be curious, I was able to use all of the software functions of the magnifier on my Linux computer. When in card reader mode the device shows up as a USB storage device, and it shows up as standard video device when in "monitor" mode. One odd thing I noticed however -- when in the video mode, the kernel would throw up rapid warning messages (at a rate of perhaps two per second). This didn't seem to impact its functionality, but I didn't like the idea of hundreds or even thousand of warning messages clogging up the system logs either. Of course, could just be a fluke of my particular setup. Overall it's a handy gadget and well worth the purchase price, so long as you have reasonable expectations as to what you can actually see with the thing.

Great little tool to keep with you!
I’ve been using this digital magnifying glass for a while now, and it’s exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and image clarity. The display is crisp and vibrant, making it incredibly easy to read fine print or inspect small details. One standout feature is the expandable storage with a microSD card, which adds a lot of flexibility for saving images and organizing them. The build quality feels solid and reliable, giving you confidence that it will last through regular use. The only downside is the fixed focus, which limits some flexibility, but it’s far from a deal breaker—it still does exactly what it’s designed for, and it does it very well. Overall, this is an excellent tool that I’d highly recommend for anyone needing a digital magnifier!

Fantastic Microscope - read the product details!
I *love* this little microscope! It is exactly what it says it is - an extremely portable, fixed-focus microscope. Looking at some of the negative reviews, it seems like some people thought they were buying a magnifying glass. Magnifying glasses and microscopes are NOT the same thing. This is for looking at something very small, very up close. You basically have to put the microscope onto what you're looking at. This is what I wanted, so that I could view PCB traces for microscopic damage. If you're looking for something to read a book with, or read the instructions on pizza rolls, you're looking at the wrong product. That said, it does have a small, regular magnifying glass on it, which is good for limited reading or helping to find exact where you're wanting to put the microscope. If you're looking for a MICROSCOPE with a FIXED-FOCUS then this is PERFECT, especially at this low price point.

Worst product
It doesn't look good... the image is very pixelated... the LED lights seem to be pointing in another direction.

1 is the loneliest number...
Image is misleading to me. Makes me feel like there are 2 in the package. Only 1 in the box. My bad.

Exactly what the seller says it is!
This item works great! I am an associate at a jewelry store in Charlotte N.C and we have many microscopes. Some that cost in the thousands. This one hangs with the best for A LOT less! I love using it to get the GIA numbers off diamonds. So quick and easy to use!

Very ill conceived. Cheap plastic with a cheap screen. Constantly losing focus.
