AMD Ryzen™ 9 9950X 16-Core, 32-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

This 16-core flagship is an absolute monster. What impresses me most is its behavioral efficiency: when doing light baseline work, it idles comfortably at around 40W, staying completely frosty. When you throw a heavily multithreaded engine at it (like Death Stranding 2), it stretches its legs beautifully, scaling all the way up to a 141W average package power draw (peaking near 200W). Even under that maximum computational stress, it keeps frame pacing incredibly flat, locking in a rock-solid 96+ FPS 1% low. In more balanced games like RDR2, it cruises at just 76W while barely breaking a sweat. If you need a chip that transitions seamlessly from heavy workstation tasks to elite-tier gaming performance, this is it.

Built into my 3D modeling/graphic design workstation. I haven't even needed to turn on PBO for graphic design work yet, though I will for 3D modeling. This system is very responsive, and my CPU is a major part of that.

This chip is the most powerful one I've purchased yet. It's definitely good for someone who multitasks and even handles virtualization very well. Gaming performance is also great. So why did I get this chip instead of the X3D variant? Well, because I didn't want to have to mess with the annoying core parking and also I didn't want to deal with the reliability issues of the 3D cache variants. I do a lot more than gaming so I found this processor to be ideal for my application. It's rock solid stable on an X870 board and I haven't had a single crash yet. No blue screen or anything. I am extremely happy with this ship and it stays cool under load with a simple 360mm AIO. You will not be disappointed with this chip. BUY IT!

Good cpu runs cool very stable when compiling

Was a Pime Day Deal. Very stable running CPU Can be overclocked, but I don't see why. Very fast with graphics onboad that I don't use. Hooked mine up to my old Threadripperr water cooling system. Runs at 90 degrees F. Make sure you buy a thermal pad & mount Easy install when you follow directions.

The communication was excellent, and I received the package earlier than expected. The packaging was flawless, and the item arrived in even better condition than described.

Still works with wonderful performance after around 1.5 years. One warning/advice though: Please make sure to update your BIOS. After a certain version they fixed the heating problem and temperatures dropped down significantly after the update.

I installed this card in my recent PC build, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. I paired this with an AMD Radeon 9070xt GPU and use a 3-fan liquid cooling unit on the CPU. In real use, this thing is a workhorse. In Blender, viewport performance is buttery smooth even with complex scenes, heavy geometry, and high-resolution textures. Cycles renders are significantly faster and tasks like baking, denoising, and simulation previews feel far less painful than before. In Unreal Engine 5, the card absolutely shines. Lumen, Nanite, and high-quality lighting run with far fewer stutters than I expected, even in detailed environments. Large open worlds load quickly, and I can work at higher settings without constantly worrying about frame drops or performance bottlenecks. For game development and 3D work, it feels like I finally have headroom instead of constantly fighting hardware limits.

CPUn slutade plötsligt att fungera efter ca 4 månader i ett nytt system. Enligt lag ska denna CPU gå att få utbytt. Men detta visar sig omöjligt.

Absolute monster of a CPU , glad I didn't buy the x3d

Excellent processeur. Je l’utilise sur une grosse configuration et les performances sont franchement impressionnantes. Avec ses 16 cœurs / 32 threads et son architecture Zen 5, le Ryzen 9 9950X est particulièrement à l’aise dès qu’on lui donne du travail : multitâche lourd, virtualisation, compilation, encodage, création de contenu… Il encaisse énormément sans broncher. Les tests indépendants confirment d’ailleurs que ses performances multithread sont l’un de ses gros points forts. En jeu, il est également excellent. Ce n’est pas forcément le choix le plus pertinent si l’objectif est uniquement d’obtenir le maximum de FPS, les Ryzen X3D étant plus adaptés à cet usage, mais pour une machine polyvalente très haut de gamme qui sert aussi à travailler, je trouve le compromis excellent. Le seul vrai point à connaître, c’est la température. Ça chauffe ! Chez moi, même avec un Noctua NH-D15 G2, qui est pourtant un énorme ventirad haut de gamme, le processeur peut monter rapidement en température lorsqu’il est fortement sollicité. Ce n’est finalement pas très surprenant : AMD annonce un TDP de 170 W, une température maximale de fonctionnement de 95 °C et recommande même officiellement un refroidissement liquide pour obtenir les performances optimales. Les mesures réalisées en test montrent également une consommation pouvant approcher les 200 W sur de lourdes charges multithread. Il faut donc vraiment soigner le refroidissement et le flux d’air du boîtier. Ce n’est clairement pas le processeur que je monterais avec un petit ventirad. Mis à part ce dégagement thermique important, je n’ai rien à lui reprocher. C’est extrêmement rapide, très polyvalent et capable d’avaler des charges de travail énormes tout en restant excellent en jeu. Une vraie brute pour une configuration haut de gamme.

16コア32スレッドは伊達じゃない。 TDPは高いけれどマザボから指定してあげれば使いやすくなる。 私は仮想とか使うので、3Dの方だとエラーが出るらしいのでこっちをチョイス。 特にがっつり重いゲームやVRCとかしないのでこちらで十分です。
