i got it on sales for $10.I like you can adjust the RGB (Red Green Blue) and also have a timer.Another nice feature is you can tilt it so it is out of the way, makong more room to work with.

This light is well made as far as the light itself and the control box is nice. You can twist the dials and set a color that you like. Most lights do not have this type of adjustability and it is very nice. There is also a timer box that is attached to the power cord so you can set your on/off schedule. I have mine plugged into a smart plug and prefer to use it that way.The major downside to this light is the mount. It is pretty bad and might not fit your tank depending on the rim. As for me, I just took the mount off and laid it directly across a tub I use for shrimp breeding. It works fine this way and easily can grow aquatic plants with low to medium light requirements.Overall because if the nice light and color temp adjustability, this is a solid 4 stars.Thank you and I hope this was helpful!

This isn't the brightest aquarium light I've tested, but it is made for smaller tanks so that shouldn't be an issue. The linear color adjustment feature is unique, and much easier to use than the push button color controllers that are prevalent in the market. I have a couple of those push button jobbies and they are a PITA.It comes with instructions but they don't say much, and don't have any installation diagrams. Other than that the instructions are fairly well written. There are warnings on the light and in the instructions that the light's housing can get hot. I did not experience any excessive during the 30 minutes or so that I was testing this light.The kit includes four bent steel wires and two mounting brackets that clamp onto the sides of the tank. The brackets have a hinge so the light can be flipped up and out of the way when maintaining the tank. These clamps will not work on a tank with a lid. I don't run open tanks so this mounting system won't work for me.The steel wires plug into the sides of the light and into the brackets to raise the light up from the water (the light is "waterproof" but can't immersed). On the one I received, two of the holes in the light housing were blocked so that the wire would only go in a half inch or so (see photo). This keeps the light's mounting system from being adjusted to match the size of the tank. This is problem is obviously a manufacturing defect, and is the second reason I can't use this light on any of my tanks.The colors from this light are variable, which is its best feature. I was able to adjust it to most any color I wanted including green, yellow, red, blue, and even purple. The purple didn't show up in the photo very well, but it was every bit as vivid as the other colors.The final issue I have with this light is the color controller and power supply are all in one unit, which is hard wired to the light. LED aquarium lighting power supplies can be fickle. Most of the lights I've owned have required at least one power supply replacement during their life, some more. This power supply cannot be replaced if there is a failure.

The quality of this light was fairly average at best, and the brightness was only average, but in order to raise healthy fry proper lighting is absolutely vital. It functioned well but did not seem to be as bright as I would have liked in order to get proper baby fish growth. It fit fine on the top of a tank with a glass lid. Although the light had no issues, it did get a little bit hot for my liking but the bracket prevented this from altering the temperature of the water along with the glass lid.

I have the Petco 20 gallon long tank that is 30.5in long and this LED light was able to fit. It has the rim and this LED didn't have any issues fitting that either. I was pretty happy with the ability to fine-tune the light setting as my current LED is preset which I'm not too entirely happy with the spectrum it offered. This LED also has a timer system that automatically turn the light off. Since there's only 1 button, I just cycle through the time that need. At first, I was really excited. I have it turned on at 7.30 am and set it at 9 hours. After 2 days, I find the light going off in the late even around 8 pm. Because I work long hours, I wasn't able to sit around and check the exact timing. So I tried it again and 2 days later it does the exact same thing. I realized that the timer may not be set for 24 hours. Maybe it turned on and off for 9 hours. So I tried it for a 12-hour timer, which I found that the timer would turn off at 10 hours the light would be on when at 7 am but off earlier than the previous days. It would seem that the timer is on a 20-hour day and it'll always be wrong on the second day. At this point, I would find that 1 button cycling to the a pain as I have to cycle every day to turn the light on and off. The TIMER is definitely broken and I wished there were more options to let me have an external time to control the lighting.

The three dial interface enables you to create almost any color variation you are looking for. That is pretty rare in this space. The adjustable width is good, and the flip away is great! Good value!

I like this tank light. Timer works excellent. Colors are nice and have been great on my aquarium plants. It has different light choices to choose from which comes in handy. The brackets are good and hold well. Easy to use with or without timer by using the on off switch.

Ich dürfte das Produkt in Rahmen des Vine Produkt-Testes ausprobieren. Dies hat aber keinen Einfluss auf meine Bewertung.Das Gerät wurde problemlos und schnell geliefert.Der Aufbau war kinderleicht, einfach zusammenstecken, Anbringen an Becken mit Drehschrauben deshalb ein sicherer Halt.Das Lciht kann man umklappen um das Becken zu säubern, keine Abmontage nötig.Das Licht hat eine Timer und Speicherfunktion : 4 Timing-Optionen (6H/9H/12H/24H) keine Zeitschaltuhr mehr nötig.Durch Drehschalter lässt sich das gewünscht Licht anpassen in der Farbe ...genial. Es gibt auch Licht Farbe Tageslicht.Preislich top.

Fazit: Gutes Licht für ein 55 Liter Becken. Verarbeitung der Epoxidverklebung aber mangelhaft.Angefordert wurde die LED Beleuchtung für mein neues 55 Liter Aquarium.Hier sollen hauptsächlich Pflanzen und Garnelen ein zu Hause finden.Der LED Streifen leuchtet das Aquarium gut aus und ist bei mir in maximaler Helligkeit eingestellt.Also alle Regler auf volle Pulle.Am Stecker-Ende ist auch noch ein Timer eingebaut, welcher auf 4/8/12 oder 24 Stunden eingestellt werden kann. Dies spart mir eine zusätzliche Zeitschaltuhr.Der Abstand der Halter lässt sich gut einstellen und die Schrauben, welche auf die Scheibe drücken sind aus Plastik.Leider weist die Epoxid-Verklebung eine Lücke auf.Ich hoffe dass sich hier mit der Zeit kein Wasser sammelt und die Beleuchtung dann zerstört.Auch wird die LED sehr warm, was unangenehm war, als ich hinter das Aquarium greifen musste.Somit ist hier Vorsicht geboten!Alles in allem bin ich dennoch zufrieden für den Preis.Gibt aber wegen der mangelhaften Verklebung einen Stern Abzug.

Ich habe die Beleuchtung für ein ~25 l Becken (B40, H 28, T 25 cm) zum Testen bestellt. Gefallen hat mir der einfache Schalter mit den Drehknöpfen zur Einstellung der Farbkanäle und Intensität. Dieser, und das ausreichend lange (150 cm) Kabel sind zwei Pluspunkte, die ich finden konnte.Ansonsten kann ich leider nichts Gutes über diese LED Aufsetzleuchte sagen. Die Halterungen sind sehr klobig. Man soll die Leuchte wohl nach hinten wegklappen können - was nicht nötig ist, weil sie ohnehin sehr weit vom oberen Glasrand entfernt ist, und sich auch nicht in der Höhe verstellen lässt. Die Halter schließen nicht ganz. Da zusätzlich die Metallbügel verzogen sind, war es mir nicht möglich, die Leuchte gerade anzubringen.Die Helligkeit lässt, zumindest subjektiv, zu wünschen übrig. Die Farbmischung lässt sich mit den Drehreglern variieren, aber es ist eben RGB - mir persönlich fehlt das W, die weißen Dioden, zur Ergänzung.Den Zeitregler habe ich auf 24 Stunden eingestellt. Die Einstellung wird nach dem Ausschalten wieder übernommen, es sollte also möglich sein, die Beleuchtungszeit mittels Zeitschaltuhr zu steuern.Ursprünglich hatte ich vor, die Beleuchtung eine Zeit lang zu testen in Bezug auf Pflanzenwuchs, angesichts des negativen Gesamteindrucks werde ich darauf aber verzichten.

Das Aquarium Licht ist gut verpackt angekommen. Preis ist angemessen, einfach zu montieren. Schneller Versand
