We were traveling in our motorhome and I like to put a lot of my items in sealed mason jars so I used these wide rubber bands to add some cushion to the jars. I didn’t want them to break if they were to bump up against each other in the cupboard. We traveled over some very rough roads. And they served their purpose!

I got these to secure power cords on some of my tools. These are strong enough and wide enough to fit them and unlike regular large rubber bands are unlikely to dry out or crack.

I found the wide rubber bands handy in securing items and creating a bumper protection when needed and many other uses.

This product feels, smells, and even appears to be the same dimensions as a bicycle inner-tube. I can't confirm this as I didn't get a valve stem included with the bag of rubber but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if one did get shipped with.The elastic themselves are strong and quite durable with good tension. Some of these were not cut straight and did not have even dimensions and oddly they shipped in a vacuum sealed bag. Additionally because of the way they were shipped they don't lay evenly when placed on a table and have a significant number of kinks and bends in them.All said, if you have a use for black elastic bands these definitely serve the purpose, but for the price I'd almost rather just buy and cut up an innertube.

I bought these to loop between the door handles of my kitchen cabinets so that my cats can't open then. They work ok but I had to knot two bands together to do it because the bands are very short.
