Works with SSD and AI accelerator
I'm using this hat with a Samsung V-NAND SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB and Hailo AI accelerator. It works great so far. The ribbon cable is a little short; and that makes it a bit tricky to connect. If it were a tiny bit longer, you could connect the cable first and then seat the hat. But as it is, you need to seat the hat first and then connect the cable. And there's not much wiggle room. I actually used a small pair of pliers to gently plug it in. Still, this is pretty much just a pet peeve. Overall, this has been working great, and I would definitely recommend.

Works as advertised..
It works well, the solid base allows for thermal pads for both slots. The Hailo AI co-processors runs the "I am working tests", but I real testing has not been done. Will update this as I discover. So far I have two products from them. This one I am pleased with, the other is the dual pcie hat is meh so far, but that is likely my issue and may be cured with OS maturity.

Only supports PCIe gen. 2
Sleek design and functions as advertised. Unfortunately, it only supports PCIe gen. 2. Feedback I received from Waveshare support indicated that there are no plans for a PCIe gen. 3 refresh of this product.

works great with my raspberry pi 5
I am using this in my raspberry pi 5 and it works find. I just had an old samsung m.2 pcie ssd from an old lenovo t480 and the pi saw it when I booted up after installing. I have been using this pi 5 with Ubuntu installed with the Pi imager.

Works with Pi5 AI module and NVME
I was skeptical if a single lane pcie would work with the pi5 ai kit module and my 1tb nvme. But it works. I am able to boot from nvme and use the ai module at the same time.

Worked perfectly!
Both M.2 slots worked perfectly and still running great. Couldn't ask for a better HAT!Worked great on my Pi 5 8gb.

Nice way to add 2 m.2 slots to Pi 5.
This is a great solution for me since I have a couple of older, smaller NVMe SSDs that I had stored in a desk. This 2-CH M.2 HAT allows installing two M.2 NVMe SSDs and is easy to use. I was previously using a HAT with a single M.2 slot. I didn't notice any issues using this HAT with two NVMe drives. I was able to plug it in and it worked perfectly. What I liked about it: Works perfectly. Easy to setup. Allows two M.2 NVMe SSDs.What I didn't like: No issues found.Overall, I recommend this dual M.2 HAT for the Pi 5.
