A great essay book for sure. The first version was great, this is even greater. The best thing about this book is it is for all. Doesn't matter if you are targeting 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 bands or an equivalent PTE or TOEFL score, this book will surely be very helpful. I have been through the book and the layout is great.The sample essays are really good in terms of language use and delivery of ideas. If followed, you are sure to get over 7 bands for sure. Add-ons, the list of prepositions & connectors are of great help especially in making those juicy complex sentences. I like the "Did you know" part where even a proficient language user may make a mistake unknowingly. The essay checklist is of a great help in understanding, in depth, the writing assessment criteria and tuning the essay accordingly to achieve the maximum possible writing score.

Good to get ideas but the structure of essays needs fine tuning as per IELTS requirements. Good to have but not necessarily must.

Thank you author. Such a useful and informative book is this! I was struggling to get the decent score and managed to obtain only 6.5 band in Writing in the past. Because of the lower score in Writing, I was stranded. With this book, I managed to score 8. To my surprise, one of the sample answers from this book featured in my exam.

This is a decent book not something one can follow blindly. The book is good to get some ideas for sure, but one has to make changes as per the exam pattern because there are repetition and sometimes the essay is a little out of the topic as per the asked question.

Very effective book with 111 examples in assorted order of pattern. So even if you have not completed all, you should be good to go ahead with hands on in all the patterns. Advanced vocabs are listed and meaning is explained after each essay. No unnecessary bogus talk but right on the topic.

The overall book is very helpful as it explains step by step as to how to present the task 1 in a better way .

One of the best book for ielts preparation. I got to know so many words from this book, feeling confident for my writing test . They have given so many vocabulary, synonyms, complex words which students can easily memorize or practice . I am really very much impressed with the writers. Please guys buy this book m sure u will b able to clear ielts .. I also ask my brother to get this book ..I got to know about this book from banipreet Kaur she puts video on YouTube for ielts . She only said to get this book .. for writing.
