I use the Looft air lighter indoors starting fires in the wood burner as well as outdoors in the fire pit.The air lighter serves many functions of kindling fires or BBQ's.Using the air lighter is fast & easy, the construction is tough.I am happy with the quality and value of the Looft air lighter.

The media could not be loaded. Used this on two occasions over two days. Really impressed with how quickly it started a charcoal fire without newspaper or chemical fire starters. Instructions and YouTube video are very clear. The business end of the unit remains extremely HOT for several minutes after it is off so excercise caution.

No more lighter fluid smell or taste. This is a powerful starter that works very well. Simply place against brickets and let it blow. Within 15 seconds the charcoal is red. Now pull back and let the blower continue to ignite. Simple and no more petroleum taste.

I know people rant and rave about how great this thing is and I see where they’re coming from but there are better options available. If you need to light up a bunch of charcoal use a chimney. It’s just better. If you want to light a little spot in the middle, than oil on a paper towel is gonna do you a better job. This product is just overkill for the most part only really useful if you are strategically lighting small areas.
