Waterproof, Smudgeproof, Pigmented, Beautiful
Once applied and set this eyeliner STAYS ON! I have sensitive eyes, which this eyeliner does not bother at all. Sometimes I will walk into rooms and my eyes will water, and most eyeliner gets rubbed right off. This eyeliner does not. All of my friends and I use NYX because of just how long it stays! Also I had my old bottle of NYX for about 3 years of daily use with medium sized wings, it started to run out, but ultimately I bought this one because that one got lost. If anything the only issue I have is taking it off at the end of the day

Fantastic-A must buy!
I purchased this eyeliner with some reluctance because as I get older my hands are not so steady, and my eyelids not firm and young. Attempting to apply eyeliner has always been a bit of a challenge for me but now it is a task of the highest order, especially keeping it on my eyelid and not in my eyes or eyebrows. Let's face it those crazy sayings or jingles we hear over and over will make a nest in our brains until one day a light in our brain clicks on and suddenly we realize that one of those weird sayings is true and applies to you! Yes! The day has arrived when that happens even more frequently-you know when it happens, the light goes on and finally you're one of "those" people. Back to the eyeliner, after hours and hours of living at Amazon, I finally saw a photo of NYX liquid eyeliner that intrigued me. I'm easily intrigued with simple things but this is the deal, the brush used to apply the eyeliner was tiny-very tiny, and I didn't pay much more attention to the ad than that. I though to myself that if the brush was so tiny and skinny I just might be able to apply part of the eyeliner where it needed to go without so many variations o coloring outside the lines-you know the deal, a little on the eyelids, some in the eye, and let's not forget the eyebrow and perhaps the nose and yep-I am out of Q-tips and I am beginning to look more like Natasha of Boris and Natasha and you know the rest-should have bought those Q-Tips! I was and still am absolutely mystified just how perfectly that little brush worked! The eyeliner stayed within the appropriate places, no Q-tips needed-not a single one! The liner dried quickly, no smears, or crooked lines, and the best thing about it was that the color lasted 2-3 days. No flaking, smears, dark shadows under the eyes or in the corner of my nose! Why I ask you, has it taken so long for someone to come up with the simple but elusive perfection of such a seemingly simple task? Voila! Finally NYX Cosmetics gest it right, a little tiny pointed brush simply did the trick without bands playing, and funky stuff flying through the air and in everybody's face and hair? It matters not, cause now you can try this magic NYX it works gratis the brilliant brush! The eyeliner worked too-imagine?

Amazing product!!!
I’ve been using Nyx waterproof liquid eyeliner for years. It truly is waterproof. I’ve cried, gone swimming and taken showers with it still on. Remove is easy use an oil to clean it then regular face wash. My go to ones are the black and sapphire. I find the lighter colors like white and yellow have a slightly different application a little less smooth . If using a color like yellow I typically use the black as a base then put the yellow on top. They last a really long time! You should change them out based on the expiration date… but I haven’t had any issues.

As a longtime matte liquid liner user, I have some thoughts.
First things first, this is a solidly good product. The formula is SUPER long lasting and can take an absolute beating. The first day I wore this, I laughed, cried, accidentally rubbed my eyes, went out in the rain, and effectively put it through almost everything an eyeliner can go through. So, I feel equipped to say that this eyeliner is waterproof and smudge proof. Also, when I took it off 14 hours after applying, there was zero cracking, smudging, or any real show of wear. Having said that, it also refused to budge with my micellar water that removes literally all of my other makeup (including very waterproof mascara) until I rubbed quite hard. I'll be trying some other makeup remover and coconut oil to see if either of those work better. I like a long lasting eyeliner, but I don't want to take it to the grave. Okay, now, that I've addressed the good, it's time to move on to the bad and the ugly. The only reason I purchased this eyeliner is because, to my dismay, NYX discontinued their Matte Liquid Liner. This was my holy grail eyeliner. I wore it nearly every day, and never found myself disappointed. I felt a strangely real sense of loss when I learned it was discontinued, and quite frankly, it still stings. But, I figured it would be close enough. I like NYX products overall, due to their quality, price point, and lack of animal testing, and I knew I wanted a liquid liner with a pot and brush versus a more modern pen applicator. So, this seemed perfect. And again, it's good. But if you're coming from using the Matte Liquid Liner, there are some major differences. First, as some other reviewers have mentioned, the brush is noticeably thicker than the brush with the Matte Liquid Liner. This means, if you're accustomed to the thinner brush, this one can make you feel a little ham-fisted with your application, and it can make it harder to get fine details. Along with the brush itself, the formula feels thicker. There's a certain viscosity to this eyeliner that the Matte Liquid Liner lacked. This adds to the increased difficulty to get precise lines and details. Having said that, it's a decent replacement, and a solid option for the price point.

Oh. My. God.
I bought this eyeliner because I was running out of the one I typically use. I loved the handle for this one and figured it would be great for quick application before I went to work. I was looking for smudge proof because I work retail and quite often end up rubbing my eyes in a hurry forgetting I’m wearing makeup. When it arrived it game in a decent sized box. (Quite wasteful if you ask me) but anyway I applied it on my hand to see how long it took to dry down how matte and how smudge proof it was. It took only a little to dry down worked very well when itt came to application and even rubbing my hardest right after application. It was great!!! I left it on my hand and went about my day not thinking about it. I wore it to work the next day. And rubbed my eyes many times and the only thing that game off was my mascara and the pencil liner I had on my bottom lash. I had worked a very long shift and accidentally fell asleep with my makeup on. When I woke up the next morning and went to look at my makeup before work it was still there and still as sharp as it was right after application. When I got home after work I tried to take it off use it Garnier SkinActive Micellar cleaning water like I use for all my makeup. It would NOT come off. It barely budged. So I went and took a shower and it started to come up at the edges but the shape was still there. This eyeliner lasted 3 days before I sat down and scrubbed it off. And I had to scrub so hard. So if you don’t like getting up to do your makeup and wanna be able to wake up and go. This is the eyeliner to get. It is so unbelievably long lasting

Love this liner. Once dry It stays where I placed it! Truly perfect liner. It’s perfect for detailed masks for Halloween or masquerade.

The MOST long-lasting, not great for mascara
Still the best eyeliner I've ever used. Lasts SO long, I put some on around 8am and throughout work, a hot yoga class, and a shower afterward, it's still clearly visible on my eyes. The only drawback is that it's a thick formula, and when you're putting it on, it can get on your eyelashes, making applying mascara difficult. But I use eyeliner only, no mascara, or I apply this after mascara, and it's the best.

Impossible to achieve
This product is waterproof - so much so that you must use an oil-based remover or baby oil to get it off. Unfortunately it does not flow smoothly - it is the general consistency of paint combined with school glue so it skips and pulls while going on. It is so thick that it takes forever to set, so you accidentally smear it in unwanted places while waiting for it to dry. It is almost impossible to apply without getting it all over your lashes and it clumps there and looks like you've never used liner before. I've been using eyeliner since the 70's and am good enough that people have asked if my makeup is tattooed on, so it isn't a technique issue. I trimmed the brush fibers down to a very thin point, hoping this would help. Nope. It takes me almost ten minutes to get this to look like my previous liner and then it's so dark and dense that I look "goth." I don't recommend this at all. On the positive side, IF you manage to get it applied satisfactorily, it will last for at least 48 hours before showing any wear.
