So useful
This item is very nice quality. I’ve been waiting to get one of these for my parents front door, because my dad locks himself out of the house at least three times per year. So, something like this will help ensure that even if he gets locked out he can still get back in Without my mom or I having to worry about being far away or out of town when it happens.I really love all the features on how to use this. There is really no way for someone not to be able to get into their house when using this. You have five options when using this: you can use the included keys. If you don’t like the keys, you can use the included fob. You have the option of using your fingerprint. You have the option of using the keypad and enter the password that you sent or you have the option of using an app that you can download onto your phone to let yourself or other people into the house if you’re not home. This comes with the smart deadbolt, as well as a security handle that can be locked from the inside of the house, and he has a black color that looks really modern and nice. The only challenge that I found with this is that I found the instructions a little lacking, however, there are so many ways to use this that it is impossible not to figure it out.

Nice lock with lots of features
The lock appears to be well made, and the physical installation is fairly straight forward once you figure out how it goes together which at first sight is not obvious. The programming is also fairly straight forward as long as you follow all the instructions on the manual. I skipped the re-initialization, and it would not proceed until I did that; once I completed that first step, everything went through fine.I programmed two fingerprints, thumb and index finger and also a numeric code. The unit comes with 3 RFID cards that were also very easy to program. The lock keeps track of when and how the door is opened (key, code, prints, RFID card and a couple of others, such as eKey, that I have not gotten around to program; be sure to refresh to see the more recent records. It is supposed to work via wi-fi and Alexa, but I believe you need and external unit for that which seems to be unavailable right now. The Android phone application allows you to do all the programming directly from the application. The print sensor works well, and I have not had an issue with it. You can program the lock to auto lock after a period of time, nice if you are forgetful, or you can press the # button for 2 second to do it from the outside; from the inside, you just use the knob or press the button next to it.The lock set also comes with a plain door latch with round knobs; I have ordered a long door handle to match the lock. in the picture you can see why I prefer to use the tall handle instead of a knob. All in all, a nice system and tons of options and is so far working well for me.

Multiple ways to lock and unlock
This is my first smart door lock. It replaces a manual (keyed) lock and deadbolt set that I like but was inconvenient to use. I don't carry my keys with me unless I'm driving someplace, so if I'm doing yardwork (for example), I'd need to remember to unlock the front door first.I've installed many door knobs and locks and deadbolts, so this one was pretty easy to figure out, even without reading the instructions. The outside keypad has a close-fitting rubber gasket that will help keep rain and moisture at bay and keep the metal keypad from damaging your door. The part of the deadbolt that attaches to the other side of your door (inside your house) is plastic. I would have preferred it be metal like the keypad. The metal rod that fits through the deadbolt latch is somewhat small and it's flat and thin, and it fits into a plus-shaped latch-turning insert that is plastic. I would have preferred a thicker rod and a metal latch-turning insert.I like that this lock can be unlocked multiple ways: via passcode, fingerprint, RFID tag (3 are provided), and if all else fails, a physical key. The keyhole for the physical key is covered by a small magnetic disc. The tiny magnet holding it in place is not strong, and the disc is not tethered to the keypad. It is something that will probably get dropped and/or lost over time. The app is nice, and works well, but you do need to have your phone pretty close to the door in order to do many of the programming tasks and to lock or unlock the door. The app says you need to be within 2 meters of the lock. I found this to be very inconvenient. If my doorbell rings and I know who it is, I want to be able to unlock the door and let them in from my kitchen, which is about 20 feet away and well within normal Bluetooth range.I love the timed lock feature that you can set up via the app. I have mine set to 60 seconds. I tried 5 seconds, but that was way too fast. The deadbolt was locking before I even closed the door. You do have to unlock the deadbolt electronically for this feature to kick in. If you unlock it via the key (or by manually twisting the inside screw latch), it will not auto-lock.The instruction booklet says that it comes with a 12-month warranty, and an email address is provided for customer service. I would suggest reading the instruction booklet closely. There are a few idiosyncrasies that you will probably want to know, like you can press-and-hold the # key for 2 secs to lock from the outside, and you need to hit the # key after entering a passcode.

Very nice!
My boyfriend is absolutely obsessed with this. It took a bit to get it figured out - especially the auto lock feature as you have to unlock it before it auto lock. Which really does make sense since someone would be coming in or out. But when we were setting it up - it was really frustrating my guy!!We have had this installed for about a month now and it's amazing. The littlest of us (6 year old) can get in easily and the oldest (father in law who is opposed to technology) finally gave in and is using it perfectly!I like the key cards you can use if you need someone to run over to you house. Really good idea.Overall I would absolutely purchase this again. It was $80 at the time of this review and I think that's on point for what you are getting. It's a great product and pretty easy to install. Getting the app and getting that stuff set up took longer than the actual physical install!
