Q: We treat "wet" (cheese or meat). Is the inside of this bag cleanable (plastic)?

The inside is not plastic but cleans very well. Last night I spilled my apple juice on it and it ran inside and all over. I used a wet soapy wash cloth and it cleaned up the messy treats inside and dried clean. My husband and I both have one and feel it is far superior to any other out there for function and durability. Cleaning has so far not been an issue and last nights sticky mess confirmed we had the right treat bag. I hope this helps.

Q: Can somebody let me know about how long the waist strap is? I have a bit "extra" around the midsection. Thanks!

I can not tell you the length because I got rid of the strap. The pouch has a great heavy duty clip on it that I find it work great , stays fastened and secure. I love it. you can even was it.

Q: Can you run with this and it won't let the food fall out?

As long as it is snapped closed nothing will fall out.

I have both the smaller version (5"H x 6 1/2"W) and the larger version (6 ½” W x 7 3/4"H) of the PetSafe Treat Pouch and can easily open alone with one hand without any issues. I normally open with my right hand, grab a handful of treats with left hand, and immediately close again with my right hand. Note however as someone earlier communicated, it is imperative that you push the metal clasp closed as soon as possible or your treats will be a “jackpot” for pooches if you lean over while it is still open, because they will tumble out. I'd also like to re-emphasize that this is a very functional treat pouch, in that your dog will NOT be able to help him/herself to treats (especially high value items) when it is closed, since the metal closing mechanism is so effective.
