Hyu Four Peoples Tent (Colors May Vary)

I came across this Hyu tent on my trekking to a heavenly place called "Kheerganga" in Himachal Pradesh. Rented it from a local shop in Kasol and hiked for 8 days with it. With my hands on experience on forests and mountains, i can come up with the following points :1. Its a spacious tent for 3 people, but if 4 people are coming in, then they need to sleep really close to each other.2. If someone is going on a hike he/she should carefully check the terrain for floods or waterflow before putting up the tent. The water also seeps in from the sides of this tent in the form of dew if the rain is quite heavy. Same happens in a Quechua tent too. To overcome this problem, I suggest use an extra Tarpaulin/Tirpal to cover the tent if there is a risk of heavy rainfall or camp under a big tree.3. This tent is not as sturdy as the Quechua as it doesnt have the extra ropes which can be fitted on the ground. Its just limited to the 4 corners points which can be put inside the soil. So incase of a heavy storm, your tent might get blown away completely if no heavy object is kept inside.4. One should be very very careful and gentle while putting this tent up as the stitches are not that strong. Rough handling will damage it5. If the tent is put up on an inclined terrain then its natural for anyone to slide down while sleeping. But this can damage the tent since the quality is not that good. So its recommended to be used on a flat terrain for its better longevity.6. The carrying case is handy and the setup process for this tent is relatively easy.7. It will really be a splendid tent for picnics or small adventures.Overall I had an excellent adventure with this tent. Yeah, it did get damaged a little as I encountered with some really heavy storms during the hike, but the shopkeeper was a chilled guy and didn't charge extra money when I came to return it. Surprisingly, I never thought it was as cheap as Rs.1399 in Amazon, i ordered it instantly.At this price, it needs to be rated 5/5. No Complaints !!If you want a better quality tent, then invest more money and get a Coleman or Quechua.I was really unsatisfied with the delivery service GATI; as I received my parcel after a week long delay. Packing was excellent though !!!!

There is no colour choice and I received a Dark blue/orange tent. Mine was single piece fabric with one door and a window unlike the image which has a small top window with a small rainfly. Size is as specified 200 x 200 x 130 cm which is a standard 3/4 man tent size.I purchased this as a play tent for my son and for that purpose this was an excellent buy.For camping use, this could be at best be used as a shade tent on a beach or similar. The bottom sheet is not made of any durable material (which is its biggest negative) and may tear off easily if not layered with additional tarpaulin on uneven surfaces. The poles too do not look very durable and if they break, the tent pretty much become useless.

Nice to have this product for very normal conditions. Its good to have a tent at this price. I purchased it in 949/-. It can save u from the cold air breeze but not from heavy rainfall, wind or snow as the quality of stiching is not that good. Must handle it with care. Dont use it on rough surface directly. Although i didnt get the upper ventilation hole but its good not to have it. There is a window in the tent. Company claims tent for 4 persons but its comfortable for only 3 persons of 5feet 9inches tall max. It is very handy and easy to carry anywhere with its bag. I carried it on my motorbike easily. It comes with tent, 2 sets of rods which is foldable like blind people's stick and 4 nails to tie your tent on the ground. A short manual should be provided of installation for first timers.

I purchased two tents for 1888. To be honest, an amazing deal. But yes, cheap stuff doesn't always come with the best qualities. I'll be going to Triund this month, so bought this one. The stitching isn't great as the other reviews say, but overall, it was worth the price. Four people can sleep in it comfortably. Probably go with 3, if you have rucksacks with you.P.S: As the stitching isn't great, it might not help you during heavy rainfall and storm. Handle the tent carefully if you buy it. Don't put too much pressure on the straps while it up.

The tent is very good, worth the price. Easily install able. Very good for beach, forest and family picnics. Satisfied with the product. Gives a cozy feel. My kid loves it. Have been on trip to beach and got installed. Easy to carry.

The product is good. I seriously liked it and its actually for 3 healthy people and 4 people can adjust in if only slim trim. I'm rating it as 4 star as it's only single layer and what do you expect in cheap price. If you like camping and want to buy your own tent in cheap rate then go for it.

Fitting four people can become a very tight fit.It is perfect for 3 people.3 stars because of less people can fit and it doesn't have any protection against rain.But its ok with this price.
