High quality materials and very waterproof
The finger strap is sturdy, comfortable to wear all day and I wash my hands many times a day after gardening with no apparent damage. It works as described. It does not loose count or accidentally reset. You have to perform a long press (3 second press) to reset it. The counter button is ergonomically positioned so it is perfect for my thumb to press it. I wear it on my proximal right index finger. It is easy to read.

Best counter
Received quickly my other ones died over several years so I bought another two more the build of this is very nice also if the battery dies I took it to a battery shop there’s a rubber gasket that makes still waterproof the size is spot on I’ve learned not to put it on too tight my finger would get numb for the money and durability, usage over the years it’s well worth the money mine is black so it sticks out when I’m doing lap swim I figured if I’d got a different color it might blend in with the water I also use it walking laps at the gym that’s why I’ve got two of they I’d recommend this item

Absolutely love it
Buy it. It's great. It fits nice on your finger and stays on just fine. It doesn't disrupt your swim stroke or anything like that. The button is firm so it isn't so easy to press that you would accidentally click it, but it is easy enough to click that you know you clicked it. I guess it would be nice if it beeped when you pressed it but I haven't had any mistakes. I like to press the button when I push off the wall and I'm in the middle of my glide. I haven't been so satisfied with a purchase in a while. It's simple and very practical, I don't have to obsess over keeping count anymore, or stop to record my count on the counter-upper that I had to have next to my water bottle. I can focus more on my thoughts now, I feel more liberated

When you pay top$, you SHOULD get high quality!!!
I didn’t want to write a negative review about this product. I used it for months now. However, all of a sudden, it is stopped working. Check the attached pictures! My problem is that if you pay top dollar in a product, you should expect high quality and long lasting. I’m going to be honest and fair about it. Even though, it broken now, it’s a good product, till it breaks. My sincere advice to everyone will buy it is to buy the warranty, other than that, I don’t recommend buying it for almost $40. I would go with the cheapest ones and replace them whenever they break.

low tech but effective
Pros:Lap counter fits snugly on finger and you are able to swim without wondering if it will slip off.Simple to use.Does what it says it does.Cons:When you are in the middle of your flip turn (or shortly after) it is tough to tell if you pressed the counter properly so that it counts your lap. Once I got the hang of it--it wasn't an issue--but it takes some getting used to.Number of laps are sometimes hard to read. When I looked at counter during morning swim--lap "16" looked like lap "18."When you first start using it--it throws off your swim rhythm--but then you adjust to clicking on button.***Overall--I recommend this counter. It's a low tech way to track your swim laps and yardage. I pair it with my ten dollar timex sports watch and can get a pretty good idea of how long it takes me to finish particular sets, i.e., freestyle, back stroke, kick, etc.

Love this for tracking my Swim Laps!
I started swimming but needed something to help me track the laps. It is so easy! Ive used it for 2 months with NO issues. I am also walking laps and love how easy it is to keep track of my laps there too.Adjustable band so its easy to adjust for comfort.

Exactly WHAT IT SAYS ON TIN! It WORKS PERFECTLY! I LOVE this thing!
i specifically ordered this instead of the one that also timed because I saw there were issues with some of those being on the wrong page when you get to the end of the length. I did not want to fiddle around and so I bought the bog simple version - one click, one lap, done!I need reading glasses and worried I wouldn't be able to read the display, but with my goggles on, (at least in sunlight) I have no problems reading the numbers even though I have trouble reading my digital wrist watch. We will see when I transition to the indoor pools, but the nice thing is that if you click, it registers the number, so as long as you remember to click, you'll get a proper count. It is so clear now, I think I will be fine.IF YOU DON'T LIKE RINGS OR ANYTHING ON YOUR FINGER:I didn't like the idea of having anything on my fingers to get in the way of my stroke, so I got some micro rubber bands and attached the band of the counter to the band of my wrist watch (at first I looped it thru the wrist band's retainer ring, so it looks as if my watch has a tiny watch sitting on the watch band) But the micro hair extension elastics work better, and since this watch is only used for swimming and exercise, I never take the counter off the band. (I will try to add a picture soon). Note, the counter's band is closed as if i were wearing it (coiled up), not flattened - flattening it might break it.A pity they don't sell these with a watch band or a way to attach properly to any watch band, I would definitely wear that. (Yes, I know there's a more expensive item in the form of a watch that does a bunch of other things, but i really wanted simple - and price was right). I find that I obsess less about forgetting what lap I am on and just concentrate on swimming. So I LOVE this thing.

Just what I needed
I needed something to kept track of laps other than my brain, LOL. This is perfect. It fits snug and doesn't slip off. it doesn't interrupt your stroke at all. I almost bought a watch but found this and its so much better, just click the button with your thumb at the end of each lap. Seems expensive for being a simple lap counter but its waterproof. I've only used it for a few weeks so I hope it lasts. If it doesn't I'd probably buy another because I love it that much.
