This mat is long enough to fit along one side of my kitchen table. I can place all the propagator trays I need for successional sowing.A bigger mat would be inconvenient and unnecessary.

🔹INTRO & DESCRIPTION🔹I have fairly recently become interested in gardening, and this year, for the first time I have been experimenting with growing things from seed. I have tried aubergines, courgettes, peppers, as well as herbs.I have had some success, but any failures seem to be down to not starting off my planting soon enough. This year was a pretty miserable start to the growing season, and although my plants are coming on, they are not as mature as they should be.When I saw this heated mat, I thought this would enable me to get ahead of the game next year. My Dad used to use a heated mat to get his home made wine going, so I assume the same principle will apply to seeds !The mat arrives rolled into a retail box. There are clear instructions printed on the mat, and it claims to raise the ambient temperature by 10 to 20 degrees C. It operates at 20W. There is also a handy list of germination times printed on the mat, which to a beginner like myself is very helpful.I have tried it out with some of the seed propagation trays I have used this year, and it will easily fit three trays, but if you’re careful with the placement of them you could fit more.I am very pleased with this mat, and the fact it is only 20W means it won’t run away with the electricity bill either. I cannot fully test it until the weather gets cooler, but I will update my review once I have had the chance to use it to its full potential.

I bought this seedling mat to kick start my sourdough starter. It’s worked a treat! Maintains a low but just-right amount of heat. As far as seedling mats go for their real purpose, I can’t answer!

This is the second heat mat I've bought from you guys. The first one didn't break, my shampoo ginger plants have exploded so I had to get another pot and heat mat so they can carry on growing.5 stars goes to you!

Nice mat, gives off a steady heat, easy to store. So far so good.

It's bigger than I expected and seeds sprout a lot faster with the heat.

Only one third of the pad heats up..
