eneloop-AA- Pack of 4

Hello Amazonians, The constant pain of tapping the t.v./a.c./set top box remote control by hand rather than replacing the weakened/drained batteries is a true indian thing, (pun intended,lol). Hence finally bought this AA+AAA rechargeable battery and also its recharging unit from Panasonic. I am using: A.) Panasonic Eneloop AA Rechargeable batteries (pack of 4) and B.) the Charging unit is Panasonic Eneloop BQ-CC5E-N advance and smart charger. Kindly do go through the videos as well to get a clearer idea if the review is not enough as videos/photos speak louder than just words. So, as usual the delivery was fastest by Amazon Prime and this product has the following features that i will list below: 1.) Build quality/Sturdiness: this unit feels well built, no squeaks whatsoever and feels a good premium quality. 5/5 2.) Charging indicators: this unit has 4 separate LED indicators that indicate charging status of batteries separately. Hence this is is a big plus point of me buying the product. The charging status are as follows: A.) Static Red: battery level is 20% or less. B.) Static Yellow: battery level is between 20-80%. C.) Static Green: battery level is 80% or more. D.) LED off: battery fully charged. E.) Blinking Yellow: battery replacement needed. F.) Blinking Red: non rechargeable battery inserted. 3.) Battery types: this unit helps to charge AAA or AA batteries in any combination i.e. A.) either 1 to 4 AA batteries all together or B.) 1 to 4 AAA batteries all together or C.) 2 x AAA and 2 x AA batteries together or D.) 1 x AAA and 3 x AA batteries etc. In short any and all permutation and combination of ONLY RECHARGEABLE AA/AAA batteries. 4.) Heating issues: as this unit recharges AA/AAA batteries, the unit gets mildly warm and the batteries too, Hence it is recommended (my personal recommendation) is that after letting the batteries charge fully, let the batteries cool down to normal room temperature in 1-2 mins before using it in any other instrument like t.v./a.c./set top box remote/Remote control (RC) toys/cordless landline telephone/handsets etc. Kindly mark the review as helpful if it helped you in any way to make that purchase decision after reading this review.

I bought this Panasonic eneloop AA Rechargeable Battery, Pack of 4 to use with my remote control, camera, flashlight, and other devices that require AA batteries. I was very pleased with the quality and performance of these batteries. The batteries are pre-charged and ready to use out of the package. We use trackballs that run through batteries much faster then traditional computer mouse. I wanted a rechargeable that 1. Lasted reasonably long enough between recharges 2. Retain charge for good enough time till it was swapped for drained ones in midst of a random workday 3. Have enough cycles to eliminate battery waste (and environment harm) in a tool that we use extensively everyday. Eneloop does all 3 with ease. Initially, tried couple of big-brand rechargeable and was so heavily disappointed in how quickly they ran of juice that I switched back to expensive heavy duty disposable. Tried the eneloop when I came across them and wasn't impressed. But that was because I used the big-brand charger that was lying around. Gave it another try after few months, but this time after recharging with a IC controlled charger and that made a huge difference. Eneloops hold charge so well that every trackball here is getting them without exception. I'm also going with few Panasonic disposbles that are claimed to have 10 years shelf life. These will fill in the short duration when the eneloops are getting charged and will hopefully not require us to have extra eneloops lying around

The batteries appear to be fine for what they are. My only issue is that the package arrived open at the bottom

You can use it for a year at the max. The outer protective layers are peeling of on constant use. Quality could have been better considering the high cost. The charger is doing good job and it cannot be used for charging other Ni-MH batteries.

I like use this kind of battery for mini 4wd
