This toy is wonderful. My son wanted this for Christmas so when he opened it Christmas morning and tossed aside the box we were sad that we couldn’t find the ingredients or beaker to do the experiment. These items were hidden in the top portion of the box that keeps the main unit in place inside the big box. Good for keeping things where they belong but very bad for an excited kid. You cannot tell the items are there without pulling it apart or looking closely. Otherwise my son loves this toy. He did the experiment and was amazed by the smoke effects. You can also “redo” the experiment with your own ingredients as much as you’d like (without smoke eventually as it will run out but I believe you can reorder that as well). My son has reset his experiment a few times and loves it.

Kiddo loved this. The initial reveal didn’t go off quite the way it was intended to, as we couldn’t get the liquid to drain fully at first and anticipation won out. However, after messing with it later, the kids figured out how to ‘un-drain’ the liquid and then re-drain it and it worked perfectly. Now they replay the reveal regularly. It’s a bit pricy, but the fact that they can continue to pretend to recreate the character over and over again helps with the $$ shock. The overall build is solid, the battery compartment is easy to access, and the monster itself seems well made.

Just like other reviews, goo had leaked and drained to make cat visible so son would have seen before process was done. I kept wrapping on until all steps completed. Don’t buy, don’t waste the money. Son still likes cat but pretty crappy when you spend 70 on broken toy

The kids love this thing. It’s a blast to open and they still play with the beast lab. Super fun.

7 year old adores this. Sounds and lights aren’t my favorite but hit their target. He has requested all of them! Definitely a very well used toy.

My son loved it! He had been asking for one of these specifically and no other Beast Lab variety would do... It is especially expensive for what it is so I finally gave in and bought it for his 7th birthday. Like other reviewers have mentioned, ours also arrived cracked and a bit goo-leaky, so it doesn't necessarily ship well, I guess. The initial "creation" was a bit lackluster, but he has thoroughly enjoyed re-enacting it all with the knobs and levers and fog. He does like the Big Cat beast and has not put it down for days... Also note it needs 6 AA batteries, and I look forward to getting those back when the thing runs out of fog juice (which conveniently enough, you can order refills for... we will not).

This is my son’s second Beast Lab, his first worked just fine no problems. He saved his money for this second one and was so excited for it. However, once the heat dial reached the 3rd setting, the alarm went off continuously and the fingerprint button would not light up. We tried turning it off and back on again to no avail. Also, the green liquid did not even cover the beast so the head of the beast was visible as soon as we opened it. I expected the potential for leakage, like other reviews claimed, but did not expect a system malfunction like this. Disappointed.

Initially I decided to buy this for my son as I saw my son watching a toy review video of another kid playing with it. While skeptical to buying it because of the consistent dysfunctional reviews I remained optimistic. My son was excited when I got it for him only to open the box to reveal the creature that the whole point in the toy was to lead up to in suspense, no because the slime didn’t fully cover it. Regardless we continued with the experiment to get stopped multiple times because the switch kept getting stuck at the same step in the manual and then to end when it wouldn’t even drain the slime of the toy it didn’t even fully cover. We tried it from the beginning multiple times with the same result. Video attached for reference. I would agree with the initial reviews for this product and would not recommend it because it builds up hype for nothing and left my son with a less then satisfactory experience. I will be returning this toy as well.

This toy is priced exceptionally high and I only got this on sale. but after I got it, realised that another store had it even cheaper at ~S$50. Anyways, the surprise element of the experiment was foiled because the green liquid that’s supposed to hide the beast had already leaked before we received it and there wasn’t enough to cover it. #fail perhaps the product can’t withstand long term storage and this is just what happens. buy at discretion / proceed with caution. the liquid also continues to leak after playing with it a few times.

My grandson lived this when he got it last year. We went over recently to see everyone and I asked, what is that thing smoking on the table 😂 I was told it was the Mr. Beast toy we got. He still lives it and apparently it's not a one time or one use thing. Still playing with it a year later so must be good.

My son really enjoyed this and I was really impressed for the 3 days it lasted. Unfortunately the green slime in the lid leaked (see photos) so I had to return to Amazon, and the price has since gone up so won't be replacing immediately. Sad.

The package mailed from USA and it arrived one week earlier than expected, and it was not broken at all. I was happy with that.

Bought this special toy for my son for Christmas back in November. When I opened it to wrap I find it’s in pieces and the box is cut up! I’m so disappointed and it’s too late to send back and get a new one. Very very very disappointed.
