Cockatoo Resistance Band Or Toning Tube with Foam Handle with Extra Heavy Tension

A great add on to your home gym. The quality is excellent for the price and its reasonable. After getting impressed with the first one I ordered another set so as to increase the tension of the tube to get more resistance. The handles are made of plastic and foam though the hook is metal. Its normal to be skeptical of its strength with high or maximum resistance, so was I. But I tested it with all 5 tubes at once and found that the handle was still taking it. You can workout almost every body part with this if you improvise. One of the best equipment I bought for my home gym. Very much satisfied. Hats off to Cockatoo.

Light weight and easy to carry around. Very portable.4. Good set of options for use.5. Can be used for hamstrings back, chest, shoulder, legs, traps and what not.6. Has option of using it with door while travelling as well. Just put ita door strap between the door and the door edge and you are done with a hook type mechanism that allows u to do ur exercises.7. Has a ankle strap for working your hams and quads as u may like.8. Has soft detachable handles. Which are not plastic rather fabric and foam based. So easily portable with no additional weight.9. The most important of all is that it has carabiner hook mechanism that allows u to attach more than one cable onto the handle at a time which means one set of this product is enough to meet all the needs for adjusting different resistance levels. So cool in my opinion.Cons:No such cons. It's cool features have a trade off I feel.1. It's light weight.. but this also means that it's tubes a too light to be used individually. Okay but not cool. Atleast one or two of them should have been high resistance ones.2. It only has one ankle strap.3. It handles don't seem to be capable of lasting long if used with all five bands together frequently.Nevertheless, this product was cool enough for me to be waiting for this to be back in stock.I hope you find this review 'Helpful'. The toner tube set is such a versatile piece of equipment. The ability to increase/decrease tension easily and do a wide range of exercises without taking much space makes it more than its money worth. The quality from Cockatoo is top notch. Go for it.

Hey,I do not know how many reviews are actually helpful because I bought this product after reading them. These are simply not good. The door anchors do not fit. They come off. I was trying to hit standing chest fly with these and the anchor came off leading to the bands violently slapping my back. And, this was on my first day of use.Now, I come to the quality of resistance provided by the bands. I have been training for more than three years with weights. I have two Reebok resistance bands of level 3 and 5 each. I often combine both of them while hitting tricep rope pushdowns, chest fly, or any exercise where I want constant tension which is normally done with a cable in the gym. I had to combine four of the cockatoo bands to feel some resistance.Most important point-if you research you will realize door anchors are made for modern doors which close towards you. If you live in a house that has traditional wooden doors without pannels, the door anchor will not fit well. So, if you want to buy resistance bands I will suggest buying Reebok bands that come with a hardy covering. What this does is it protects the band that lies inside the covering and hence,the band doesn't tear apart after ever. I have been using Reebok bands for three years now and they are still fine. If you need to add more resistance, buy level 5,4, and 3 together. In case you still need more resistance and cannot pull two band handles together with your grip, go for SICHERTM bands: they have 40lbs and 20lbs bands. Encircle the door anchor around the part of the tube that will come under friction, and then use a hook or a window pane to anchor it against. If this does not work for you, buy other bands that come with that hard covering or mesh casing. This covering is important as it makes the bands durable and safe. I am saying this because I have the experience of falling down during an exercise because the uncovered band gave way. Trust me, it hurts and can take you way from workouts for a long time. Extremely good for resistance training. The accessories make the product versatile and it doesn't loose the tension and elasticity after a few uses. Good for both toning and calorie burn. Must have home kit for those who have little time for gym or for gym goes who want to add some resistance training or toning to their regiment

Well, these are saviours for any fitness freak, we can do any kind of workouts with these beauties. In these times very helpful to maintain our body fitnees and we can do all kinda of workouts from ahoulder, biceps, chest and back workouts.

Good product, had some rust on the metalBut overall its good. I feel that they should give a larger hook for the door, sometimes it is scary to use.
