I gave this as a gift. It was very well-made very heavy great for what it’s made for.

Bought 2 as gifts. Surprized at how nice they are.

As with all cast iron hinged mechanisms, it could break if too much pressure is applied, but mine did not. A simple trick that I use, is microwave each ball 8 to 10 seconds then press. They flow out easily. I uses a pie crust mix for empanadas and it works great.

Good quality. Works easily. But it doesn't get my tortillas as thin as I like. I tried it to make tamales and I couldn't get the masa to not stick to the plate even with a piece of plastic wrap

So happy with this tortilla press. Solid cast iron. Make sure to read up on how to properly use it though.
