My dentist suggested a water pik for cleaning in between teeth instead of flossing, believe it also helps stimulate gums though ask your dentist. Reviewed a number of options and chose this one due to the reviews. So far so good. Easy to charge with provided cable. PSI and charge are consistently steady. When the pik did not turn on it just needed a simple charge and POOF back to operation and PSI. Different piks vary in PSI (water pressure). I am throwing out the floss. The dental assistant noted tarter in between teeth in previous cleaning sessions. I am hopeful to have eliminated this issue with my new water pik. I may purchase another for different locations. Four stars because its a new item.

I'm so impressed with this water flosser! For the price I did not expect I would be getting such a good product. Besides the actual performance, this product is built well and feels premium. The different tips are super easy to interchange, the water container doesn't leak at all, and the buttons feel premium too. The battery lasts a long time - I've been using it for a week on only one charge, and the water pressure is strong enough to really clean my teeth. Possibly the best feature is the fact that it's fully waterproof. These things are messy because of how hard they spray (at least for me), so I have been using mine in the shower. I keep it there permanently and it is regularly exposed to water on all sides and humidity, and there have been no problems. Finally, I really find this flosser to be effective. I have never used a water flosser before and have always used string floss, but it would occasionally make me bleed or have pain. This on the other hand is gentle but still removes stuck food. I still floss with string after using this, but I have no more bleeding and no more pain.Definitely give this product a try especially for the price!
