Lovely piece of kit. Very accurate. Very well made. Only used it once up to now to add a extra hinge to a cupboard door because of the weight of a spice rack on the back of it, and it performed great. Would definitely recommend it.

It’s no trend or ruttlands but it does the job for a fraction of the price. it’s everything you need to drill out your own kitchen door hinges accurately. Forsner drill bit probably won’t last long but you can upgrade if needed.

Can be good but some parts come apart while I used it. Can be a good thing if you get it at a good price.

Only used it for a couple of hinges but made the job very simple. You do have to watch the drill when working with thin material, the pilot part of the drill cuts a few mm deeper than needed. The depth of the cut itself is easy to adjust to any depth.

Update: offered a replacement by seller and increased stars from 3 to 5 When i bought this 1 of the drill bit was too big for the hole, and the nut/washer (protector?) has a spur on the inside so the drill bit coundnt get through and lock into place... but other drill bit was fine, and worked well. I have cut a good amount of pocket holes now and have had no issues with the jig.

I needed a tool to make a 35mm dia 10mm deep recess to accept hinge. Amazon description states this tool was suitable for 10-15mm depths with adjustable depth limiter. This sounded ideal for my purposes. Upon receipt the item looked of good quality however on assembly, following photo instructions on Amazon site, I found that the smooth turned section of the drill bit was not sufficiently long such that with the depth limit ring fitted and tightened the maximum depth of hole drilled was only approx 5mm thus making the tool/jig not fit for purpose nor as described. Will be returning for refund.
