AmazonBasics Ventilated Laptop Stand (Black)

I wanted a stand that could reduce the heat generated by my laptop. This does that up to an extent. It can't beat the stands with fans and neither is this something you can use on your lap or bed.It needs to be seated on a sturdy surface. I use it on my desk.The ability to increase the height of the laptop with its stand helps with my line of vision. The laptop support hinges have a decent rubber foam that's neither very soft nor hard.The top is sturdy enough to support the laptop and is generally sturdy. However, it's mildly wobbly. The bottom part of the stand is well seated and doesn't wobble. It's only the mesh that stands up. I felt this when I rested my palms on my laptop to type.For the cost point, it's a decent stand.

I used this laptop for my Acer Predator 2019 gaming laptop since it lets the fans underneath ventiliate the air coming from long periods of gaming properly. Since my laptop has good fans it saved me some money from buying heavy duty gaming fansIts a sturdy and well built set up and used it almost everywhere from bed, table, sofa etcHowever its been a little over a month and i think its starting to bend/deform in some places. thats kinda expected since my laptop is around 2 and half kgs so i have begun to doubt how long i have till the stand gets bent in some weird way permanently. when i mean bent, im talking about the metal mesh platform not the sturdy metal borders and the base. the mesh is little light compared to the rest of the build but that makes sense since its meshed and allows good airflow.Also the inclination setting puzzles me a little, so far ive used it at lowest inclination and it works perfectly. i just dont see myself raising the laptop higher but i suppose it feels nice that the option is there.Definiatley worth the money. i cannot stress this enough. A lot of high end cooling pads are in a pricey range and i didnt want to settle for laptop cooling pads in a middle price range since you sacrifice portability which is where this stand really shines. In conclusion, get it if your laptop thermals are good and you dont need high end cooling fan and need portability instead. I just chuck it in my bag. ive even flown with it in my backpack so no issues with airport security either. if you dont mind your backpack being a little heavy, that is. (laptop stand + my gaming laptop in bag was around 3kg in weight)Can also be used for work, which i havent personally done since i do most of my schoolwork on my mac which i dont really require this stand for.

This is the best product I found on Amazon. I bought this product in 2019 post my backache issue due to working on laptops. Looked for many products only but it didn't seem right. Also the elevation was not as high. I finally found this and I bought it. It is adjustable. You can manage the height per your needs. It is durable and washable too. Very sturdy and great looks.Tip: Please buy a separate keyboard if you have any backache issues. It'll help reduce stressing your body and for the correct sitting posture. (Suggested by my Physiotherapist).

It's built good. I bought in 2018 for my gaming laptop. Isn't that heavy so you can put it on your lap. Playing racing games or even FPS having this on your lap, you won't feel the heat or it's weight.Just make sure to not lift it with one hand in the center of the base with your laptop on it. I've been doing so for long and one of the hings broke due to that. Putting Fevikwik gel has been working fine. I took these pictures when I fixed it for the second time in the fifth year of it's usage.Overall it has been one of my best purchases on Amazon so far. ❤️

Product came well packed. Very sturdy and well made. A little too heavy to carry to work daily. Also, it doesn't fold completely so it would take a lot of space too. I was also missing the cord holder in my parcel which was disappointing.Returned it the same day, just wasn't what I was looking for.But it's good if you can leave it at your desk and not have to carry it daily.

As you can see from the first image, the product has a slight defect. The base is not straight. However, I chose not the return the product, as it doesn't seem to effect my work in anyway.The design is great. Very simple and solid. You can elevate your laptop to different levels as you can see from the image below. There is a simple rubber cable management thing attached behind which is easy to fix.The body is metal, so it helps absorb and dissipate the heat from your laptops. You do not require any special fan based cooling systems for your laptops, as they r mostly all gimmicks. This product seems to do the job well enough.Overall an amazing product, worth the price. Go for it if you want to increase the life of your laptop.One small thing, it is not easily portable, but the benefits outweigh the cons.

A required accessory for any older model laptop or gaming ones, I didnt buy it as a laptop stand or riser but to use it as a temporary stand / cooler. This one doesn't come with a fan but unlike the cheapo plasticity" Laptop Coolers" ones that has a horrible glorified leaf as a fan as a gimmick this one is far better as it ventilates very well and is extremely sturdy as well. Has fallen a couple times but has no problems so this will last a lot longer than the plasticky "laptop coolers" Con is that its slightly on the heavier side. Its also very handy if you regularly place your laptop on a soft surface like a bed or pillow, as it keeps the air channels open for the fan and prevents the laptop from heating up.Works very well for laptops up to 15.6 inches
