Glow or Go Matte – Everyday SPF with a Touch of Tint
I’ve been using the DRMTLGY Anti-Aging Tinted Moisturizer SPF 46 as part of my daily routine, and it’s become a staple in my skincare lineup. The product comes in two finishes—matte and dewy (labeled “sheer”)—and I’ve now tried both.I accidentally bought the dewy version after originally using and liking the matte, but to my surprise, I really like both. The dewy finish feels great for summer—light, hydrating, and gives my skin a nice healthy glow—while I prefer the matte formula during the winter, when I don’t want as much shine. Both provide light coverage and feel weightless on the skin.I wear it every day for broad-spectrum protection, but if I’m going to be outside for a long time, I layer it or switch to a more heavy-duty sunscreen. Still, this product is perfect for daily wear and gives my skin a polished, natural look without feeling like I’m wearing makeup.Bonus tip: Keep an eye out for coupons—they’re sometimes available and make this great product an even better value. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a multitasking SPF moisturizer that’s easy to incorporate into your morning routine.

Actual review here, nice product
I do not wear makeup, I've never owned foundation or cover up. An ad sold me on this. For coverage, I honestly don't see much but there is a very subtle effect. My skin looks the same before and after I apply this, but it probably does even some stuff out. I wipe it off at the end of the day and there is color on the cotton pad, so it must be doing something cosmetically. The tint does blend perfectly to my skin, I'm pretty fair skinned but not ivory at all and not olive, plain Jane white skin.It doesn't transfer at all, so that's super nice. It's not greasy, it's almost a tiny bit drying (I got the matte) but I just use more moisturizer before and that fixes that. I do feel it has perfect SPF effect. It smells slight makeupy/foundation/cover up like, but nothing overwhelming. It does nothing for hiding my fine lines. It does absorb superbly into my face skin with zero residue or cake look. It does not make my skin oily or breakout whatsoever.I have nothing to compare this to, but it works extremely well with my skin and just fine on top of my regular simple routine. My true reason for ending up buying it was for the SPF, and it is a fantastic facial SPF product. I feel like I'll maybe be using this in the future, but it hasn't changed my life or anything. I use isntree sunscreen and I'm perfectly happy with that for SPF for a similar price.

Dewy vs matte
I bought dewy directly from drmtlgy and matte from amazon. They’re very similar. I saw some reviews complaining of a smell, but they smell exactly the same and it’s a very normal, mild scent. I personally prefer the dewy version and only took off one star because my face tanned a bit through the matte sunscreen. The tint is very sheer and it feels really light and non greasy on skin.

nearly perfect product!
This is the best tinted sunscreen I have ever tried. The color goes on so natural - I am Caucasian with pink undertone skin, and it hides and blends so well with any redness. It spreads far on the skin. I never get sunburn on my face when I wear it. I am totally neutral about the smell - I think it smells fine for a sunscreen product. Just be careful not to rub your eyes layer in the day. It does burn off you get it in your eyes. Though I've seen they have an eye concealer version of this that doesn't burn your eyes. I'll prolly try that next. Also it's vegan!! Five stars for me!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good Product, Bad Bottle
I liked the product itself, I've been trying to get away from wearing heavy foundations and liked that I could wear this with some powder over it and get enough coverage to feel confident. However, as some other reviews have mentioned, the bottle that the product comes in is not great. The pump is not attached to a straw inside, so getting the product out of the bottle is difficult. Turning it upside down and pumping worked for a little while until it didn't, then I had to remove the top and slam the bottle onto my palm to get the product out, which bruised my hand and was quite messy. I order this product in April 2024, in February 2025 I asked in the comments on a social media post if they have fixed the bottle issue and I got this response from them:"Hi! For many of our skincare bottles, we use airless pump technology. With these types of bottles, there is no tube/straw on the inside, and it takes many more pumps to get the product up and flowing out of the dispenser. In the end, this type of bottle is much more effective at getting the most product out of the container! If you turn the bottle upside down and give it a lot of shakes and a bunch more pumps, it should start coming out. This is almost always the case! :)"So basically they told me: 1. You have to pump this a lot more than a bottle with a straw to get product out (annoying), 2. You'll need to turn the bottle upside down and give it a lot of shakes to get the product out (what?!), 3. This *almost* always works (so it doesn't always work).Ultimately the product wasn't worth the trouble that the bottle posed in getting it out, and it seems the company is aware and is just attempting to make it sound like a fun thing you have to do to shake it and pump it a bunch which is crazy!

I wish I used earlier
I usually try to stick with completely physical sunscreen. It's difficult to find one that is reasonably priced, has minimal cast, and has a matte finish. More often than not I can only have 2 of the 3. Previously used the physical one from Drmtlgy. I decided to give this a try since I heard that the negative environmental effects of chemical sunscreen are greatly exaggerated. I'm glad I did. Not only was I matte all day but the cast was better the the physical version. For context, I'm black. Also, it didn't break me out. That's another reason I tend to be wary of chemical sunscreen.
