works for the 3 T8 linear lamp, easy to install
Bought this to replace the old ballast that broke after 15 years of usage. The ballast is for 3 T8 linear lamps. The connection wires are very long. I cut the wires to the appropriate length to remove the old ballast and install the new one to the existing lamp hood. The process took probably about 10 minutes. The lights are working again.

Perfect for Lighting Repair!
I checked the numbers on my existing ballast so that I'd get the proper size. This was it and just perfect! I'm so happy I didn't have to replace the whole lighting fixture! I like my current fluorescent light fixture and didn't want to replace it. Plus, it's a pain for one person alone to replace things like large light fixtures and ceiling fans. If you like your current fixture, or can't afford to replace it, try replacing the ballast first. That's the part the tends to go wrong on those fixtures.

Great product, terrible packaging
Product worked well and was easy to install, but it was shipped in a plastic bag. Come on, Amazon! You can do better. Reducing packaging is one thing, damaged products are another!
