Because of an accident that caused my legs to become inconvenient, I thought I would never be able to drive by myself again. A friend recommended this manual control device designed for disabled drivers. The installation process was professional and fast, and the operation was very intuitive and smooth. The first time I used it to drive out alone, I was filled with emotion and a sense of accomplishment.

This is by far the best HODS (Hand Operated Driving System) you're going to find. I am very grateful this company offers this apparatus at a budget price, instead of exploiting the disabled. For just $100 bucks, you're free to roam! I prefer this type because it's easy to setup and use. I can quickly switch it between vehicles, which makes travel rentals and buying a new car much easier. The case comes in handy for traveling on planes, where it easily fits in overhead storage, so you don't have to worry about it getting lost in transit.Another main benefit of this type is that it's not as restricted as most. You can use it without the strap, which makes it possible to reach over and control the radio or AC without having to take your hand off the handle, or let go of the steering wheel. It's much more ergonomic too. You don't have to constantly hold your arm up in an uncomfortable position for long periods of time.There is one major flaw though. The pivot bolts attaching the handle to the shafts need lock nuts. I had to replace the ones that came with it because they kept coming loose. It's a simple, easy and cheap fix though, so don't let that deter you from purchasing this. The only other thing that I can gripe about is the foam on the handle. It needs to be a more durable material that doesn't age in the heat of a car.Overall, this is the best option you're going to find. Being disabled shouldn't mean you have to be trapped, relying on someone else to take you places. Take back your independence and get out and drive.

The gas pedal attachment came loose and stuck behind the brake, so when husband tried to stop it wouldn't brake. It was pushing the gas and brake at same time. Luckily we weren't an a busy road and I threw the truck in park. But we now owe are friends a new gate and our truck has scratches on the side and our bull catcher has a dent. And now we can't return because we are 2 days out of time, we were traveling for a month visiting family and friends and just returned home.

It took me about 15 minutes to install. I liked that there is one handle - push on the right and it accelerates- push down on the left and it brakes.Nothing was better for my family member to drive again. Granted ~ it took time to adjust and we live in mountainous region. I feel for the money- it’s worth it.

I got these to aid my paralyzed son in driving his new, to him, side by side utv. They are easily placed on and taken off again, which is handy, as I sometimes use this vehicle and don't need them for me. These work great and provide a safe way for him to operate the vehicle, too. Great invention.

This is my second purchase of this item, the first one lasted several years but lost in transit. Very easy to equip or uninstall on multiple platforms for driving. It functions with ease, as well way more affordable than having something professional installed. Just make sure you tighten all the bolts before usage.
