Works great on any skin issues, cuts, scrapes, scratches, bruises, stings and is gentle enough you can use it on your eyelids. Reduces the appearance of existing scars. Has no alcohol, antibiotics or steroids. Made from lining of the mother of pearl clam. Been used by native Americans forever. It’s also cheap, $5 a jar

Lighter and more even skin (Not bleaching, though)
This is a nice, thick cream. It moisturizes fairly well, but the reason I use it is to lighten the area where my inner thighs rub.A few years ag o this item was a staple in my local grocery stores, and in the time it took to use up one container (along with the Concha Nácar soap) my inner thighs, lady bits, elbows and knees were all lightened by about two shades.Please note this is NOT a bleaching product. Rather, a good moisturizer with some lightening ingredients. It helped my skin return to its natural color (once lost due to friction in the areas above mentiones).Perhaps the mere fact that I took care to properly moisturize the areas is what resulted in the change. But seeing as how it happened with these products, I'm willing to believe they helped.That said, I find it too rich to use on my face. Wanted to try it on some spots and uneven toned areas, but my facial skin couldn't handle it.All in all, I am very happy to see Amazon carries this product, and will incorporate it once again to my routine, hoping to see the same results I did years ago.My one complaint is the packaging. If it were a pump bottle, not only would it be a more sanitary option, but the ingredients would be less prone to degradation from exposure to air and light.Disclaimer: My review is based on my previous experience with this product. Should it not work this time around, I might update my review accordingly.
