Not Bad for Costume Quality
This belt is made of a medium thickness faux leather material. It has a Celtic design pressed in to give it the appearance of tooled leather.I am plus sized and have a waist of 39in and was pleasantly surprised to learn that not only did the belt fit, but it was highly adjustable and could fit a probably 5 inches larger or smaller. It looks pretty convincing from far away. But after only one wear it is apparent that this belt will not last the test of time and will likely need to be replaced in a short time. The roughness of the ornate buckles rubs and rips at the belt straps as you fasten and wear the belt. It's not bad for the price, specifically if you are plus sized and are having trouble finding something that works for you, but just keep longevity in mind when making your purchase.

great belt
this belt is very nicely made. it will be great for ren faire or cosplay. Very sturdy and not cheap at all. We might even incorporate it into a Jedi outfit. Well worth the price.

Wore It Last Weekend! Love It!
I've been doing this sort of thing for 30+ years and this is one my newest additions. Last weekend, I wore it for the first time and, I'm SO happy to say, it's one my favorite new additions! The two belts are not just window dressing. They are real belts. You can attach belt pouches or other adornments and still cinch it tight to hold things down or up. There's usually something that's a little disappointing about most things like this, even if it's just a little bit. NOT HERE. Highly recommended!

Great for costume
Very stiff when it arrived, but working it a little got a lot of the stiffness out so it fits better. Great piece for a costume. It took a little work to figure out how to hang a frog from it for a sword, but we got it there eventually. Definitely more for a man's shape, but made it work for a woman. Nice piece.

Fun Medieval Styled Belt, but Could Be Better
I thought it would be fun to have this belt, especially since I play D&D. The belt is made from real leather, so that's a plus. But it's actual appearance is ... decent. I like it overall, but not as much as I liked the photos, to be honest. Despite it being real leather, after putting it one once and wearing it for about a minute (simply to see how it goes on and fits), the leather straps where the holes are for the buckle's prong developed creases and wrinkles. If that's from simply trying it on, I can imagine what these straps would look like after wearing it for a day ... or after taking it on and off multiple times over the course of a month or year. This is the main reason I'm not giving this 5 stars. The pattern that embossed on the belt are very shallow and, as a result, don't show up as well as in the photos. And while I like the belt overall, my general impression is that this product was quickly made by machine, which doesn't really say 'Viking' to me.Overall, it's a decent product, but I think a little high-priced due to the 'craftsmanship' of the item overall. Make the embossed designs deeper or more profound, increase the quality of the leather, and somehow give it less of a 'machine-made look' and this could well be a 5 star product.
