Yes, I believe that you can charge any lipo battery, safely and quickly. It does need to be bluetooth linked to a smartphone. Have fun!😀

I bought this thinking it would fast charge my nimh batteries for my rustler. What do I need to fast charge nimh batteries. These take 1 hour each

NiMH batteries can only charge so fast before they exceed their thermal capacity (overheat). LiPo batteries are able to charge faster.

will this battery charger charge batteries that has balancing plugs or terminals?

This charger has balance ports for 2s, 3s, and 4s. There is a small plastic cover next to the battery connector port, it just pops off and you have access to the port. Handy for charging older traxxas batteries or other brands.
