These bulbs are simply brilliant - they do almost everything you could imagine and more. They’re genuinely smart and integrate seamlessly into my home setup. Brightness and Colour Accuracy: Unlike some smart bulbs, these get very bright at the higher settings across the warm-to-cool white range. I only wish they could dim just a little lower at the minimum level. The beam angle is excellent and they project light very evenly. I compared them to professional-grade, high-CRI (95–98) lights at 6500K, and the colour accuracy at this cooler setting is impressively close. When switching to colours such as red, blue or green, brightness does drop slightly, but that’s expected with most colour-changing bulbs. The overall colour range is superb. WiZ vs Philips Hue: When compared to the far more expensive / popular Philips Hue bulbs, the WiZ bulbs actually have a higher CRI rating (90 versus Hue’s 80). They may not reach quite the same peak brightness and might have a slightly shorter lifespan, but considering both brands are owned by Signify, I’m genuinely surprised the WiZ range isn’t more popular. At the time of this review, the Philips Hue equivalent GU10 3-pack was £139.99, while the WiZ 3-pack cost just £25.20 - an incredible saving for what could arguably be a better product. These are a bargain, and you’re certainly not compromising on quality. Compatibility, Connectivity and Setup: I’ve tested them across several platforms and devices - all of the following worked well: the WiZmote remote, Apple HomeKit (tested with Mac Studio, iPhone and HomePod Mini using Siri and the Home app), and Alexa. Setup was straightforward using the WiZ V2 app. However, for HomeKit integration you’ll need to generate, then screenshot the in-app QR codes, as the Matter QR codes on the packaging didn’t work for me. Note that there’s no crossover between rooms, scenes or light modes between WiZ V2 and HomeKit, so you’ll need to configure these separately. HomeKit is also a little slower and less responsive than the WiZ app or remote when switching modes. The WiZ App and SpaceSense: The WiZ V2 app feels a bit clunky - certain controls (like “scenes”) aren’t easy to find, and there’s a small learning curve. Adjusting brightness precisely across multiple bulbs can be fiddly, and the fade transitions can sometimes behave inconsistently. The SpaceSense motion detection is hit and miss. Sensitivity can be adjusted, but mid-level settings are too unresponsive while higher ones are overly sensitive. It can also override your chosen lighting mode if it detects movement in the room. It’s probably best suited to hallways or staircases rather than living spaces or offices. Other Notes: I did need to change my light switch to a standard on/off type (as is common with smart bulbs). It’s a shame WiZ don’t offer a proper dimmer switch that fits a standard wall socket - their current stick-on Wi-Fi versions feel more like an add-on, and only come in white. One bulb appears slightly brighter than the others at the lowest setting, though this is barely noticeable in everyday use. Conclusion: I’m genuinely amazed that I could get such high-quality smart bulbs at this price. There’s no way I could justify the cost of many of the more “premium” bulbs, and when comparing the specs, these WiZ bulbs actually outperform them in several areas. Highly recommended - great performance, superb value, and even better with the WiZmote remote, which is ideal when you don’t want to reach for your phone and allows you to preset up to four modes. I plan on switching my entire home to Wiz soon!

The thing I like most? You can set these to switch on automatically when you enter the room. Very easy to set up once you’ve set the app up on your phone. The worst thing about them is the app. I have bulbs and the like from different manufacturers that use different apps from each other. This app needs better functionality. They’re not cheap. But they do seem to be very good quality.

Been using a much more expensive brand until I found these. Although I have only hade them several weeks they seem very goid quality, I had a little issue with the app but just deleted and re-downloaded and all was well. Once the app was working it was relatively easy to setup.

Worked great with being able to detect presence and bright colours and easy to use once setup. Removed one star as one of the bulbs does not always connect despite being close to others. Overall very smart bulbs, love the way you can switch to warm and cold by flicking the light from the switch too

Good quality product.

I sought these for Apple Home integration- it passed with flying colours. Which was surprising- usually Apple homekit certified products are at great expense. Well to clarify they're matter compatible, which if you have a homepod/homepod mini can act as a matter hub. However, they have two critical (good!) features that mean I rarely use them via Apple Home or siri etc. 1- they can automatically adapt to your circadian rhythm, going warm in the evening, and colder to wake you up. 2- they have something called "Space Sense" which, I don't know how but it's awesome, effectively has motion sensors in the bulbs themselves. As such, I set the schedule (so if in bedroom and I move in the night I won't be rudely awoken!) to match my routine, ad now I don't need to tell Siri to do anything, use my phone, or even touch the lightswitch. Does a smart home get smarter than that?!? No better ease of use. And a side note- a really premium thing they've added, surprising for its price point is fade in even if powering on from the switch. Say you live with someone who prefers an analogue switch. No problem! Next time it powers on, it still fades in gently- in fact you can even program two modes that swap when you power it on via switch!

Excellent smart bulbs with lots of features within the app. Connects well to WiFi. Easy to set up.

I'm an electrian, and when I wired my house I installed these everywhere, or the previous generation when they were owned by someone else. And I am so glad I did. They can by fiddly to set up, but once they are done they are incredible, and give you micro control over every single individual spot light in a room or home. With a scene set up in our upstairs hallway for instance, at a certain time schedule or when we tell alexa to turn it on, the scene turns 3 of the 4 spots off, leaving just 1 on at 10% brightness so if the kids get up in the night there is a soft dim light in the hall. The 4 I most recently purchased were for my mother in law, where I have put them in outside lights so they can be set up to turn on at sunset each evening, and go off at midnight in her case, but could go off at any set time or a dynamic time like sunrise. Always recommending these to friends and family.

J'utilise ces lumières pour éclairer la porte d'entrée à l'extérieur de la maison . Connecté à Google assistant qd j arrive à la maison je demande à Google d'allumer la porte d entrée et c'est fait . Bien sûr mettre les ampoules dans des luminaires extérieurs étanche ip65. Je recommande, facilité d installation à l'application wiz qui est compatible alexa et Google assistant.

Colores intensos. La aplicación funciona perfectamente. Tiene varios modos, incluso luces dinámicas.

Toevoegen van de lampen was makkelijk, simpel de instructies volgen in de app. Lampen kunnen gedimd worden, van kleur veranderen, enz vanuit de app. Top product, snelle levering en goede prijs (39€) voor 4, de huidige prijs (60€) voor 4 is teveel. Dat is de reden dat ik er niet meer koop.
