Wholefood Earth Citric Acid, 2 kg

Bought this item as a kettle limescale remover and it worked perfectly. Instead of using capsules bought in supermarkets, I use a spoon of citric acid, pour water in the kettle (2 fingers above bottom) and boil it. The result is limescale completely disappears. It's not a permanent fix, neither are the supermarket capsules and its use depends of the amount of times the kettle is used. I repeat the procedure when I see new accumulation of limescale. It only takes a couple of minutes. Also is good for cleaning stone surfaces and even some parts of the bathroom where limescale may accumulate. It's cheap, safe, high longevity (almost 1year later I still have it) and healthy for the environment since it's something you can naturally find in fruits (e.g. oranges).

Easy to use, scoop and go, appearance looks white as can be, has no smell from my noses ability to smell, safe diluted, very effective on tarnished copper used with hydrogen peroxide, additive perfect for making golden syrup.

I used this for sooooo many things at home!!! I don't use fabric softener any more. Just add 3 spoons into a bottle with 1 litter of water and use in the washing drawer as usual. It's great. Also use for more cleaning products, bubble bath balls etc. Packaging is perfect and this is a natural ingredient to add in your life and get rid of all the chemicals around you and your family. Good for you and for the environment. Price-wise is one of the cheapest options I found and it is great. This is not the first time I bought the product and I will for sure repeat.

Citric acid, like most things, has seen its price skyrocket of late. That said, this is one of the better deals on Amazon and 2kg lasts a long time for us. We live in a very hard water area so, we use it for cleaning the electric kettle, the washing machine and our dishwasher.

Good for adding bite to jam/chutney making. Useful for descaling limescale (In kettle or on Taps)

Sales advisor at John Lewis told us to use this instead of calgon tablets to clean the dishwasher and washing machine. You need just put a large tablespoon in once per month (without items) put on cycle and the drum / inside comes out gleaming,. It also cleans the parts you can't see. Its really good and more eco friendly than Calgon as well as being cheaper. This size bag (2kG) will last at least a year - so bargain. Also great for cleaning our limescale kettle, tools that are mucky and shower heads if love overnight. Recommended and fast delivery from seller.
