The Perfect Protein Powder!
I absolutely love these Wild Society protein powders! I bought chocolate, vanilla, and of course rocket pop. All of the flavors taste amazing, and the powder mixes great! I love that I can drink this to refuel after a hard workout, knowing that it is made with all-natural ingredients and is free from artificial additives. Nothing but the best from the Champ! My perfect work starts with watching UFC Dillashaw vs. Barao to get amped, then I throw on some Red Hot Chili Peppers “Can’t Stop” in my headphones to stay amped, workout as hard as hard as I can, and enjoy a Wild Society recovery. I recommend you give it a try! Kris G.

Beyond my expectations
Supplements help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food, and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to get to know the company and product better, to help you determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.If used as directed it will last about two weeks. It would be even more expensive, but I'd prefer they just fill it up with an entire month's worth of powder. The "best by" date on mine is May 2026, so a little less than two years from now.You can smell the vanilla flavor as soon as you open the pouch, and the taste is vanilla bean goodness.Lately I've been wondering when powder supplement manufacturers are going to realize the scoop doesn't need a reinforced handle? The powder is light enough and the plastic strong enough that it will work with just a flat handle. That will keep powder from getting stuck in the nooks and crannies and then randomly free-falling when it's right over something you don't want it to free-fall on (which unfortunately is sometimes my keyboard =) Also, making the scoop rounded will make the powder come out easier. The benefit of a pouch is you can feel where the scoop is and massage it up to the top so you don't have to go digging for it. However, you're going to get powder on your hands anyway when reaching into the bag, especially if you have big hands like me. The scoop won't be hard to find though, it's the biggest one I've seen in awhile!I like my supplements to say organic (grass-fed in this case), non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says grass-fed and pasture raised, GMO free, and SQF certified. The product page says made in the USA, and the website says 3rd-party tested.I look into the supplement companies I use because I've come across so many questionable ones. The wildsocietynutrition site is functional in Chrome, but just a black screen in Firefox. They don't have a phone number on the website, or at least a chat feature. But the site has a lot of information and they are in some nationwide stores, so for me that's good enough that they're established and not going to disappear on me.I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but the ingredients in this are excellent, and somehow they did it without the mushroom aftertaste I was sure it would have. The price may seem high, but it's fairly average for protein powders, including much inferior ones. The quality of product, from an established company, is worth at least some of the price, and if it does what you're looking for it to do, even better!Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

Mushroom goodness. Keto Friendly.
I ordered this grass fed whey protein because they've included mushrooms in their formula. I am newly infatuated with the power of mushrooms and their (in my experience) subtle benefits.I wasn't sure what to expect when trying this product because I wasn't sure how mushrooms would taste in a chocolate flavored shake. Fortunately, I wasn't really able to taste any mushroom flavor. I think this is because there is plenty of stevia in the formula. This shake is very sweet and chocolatey which I think covers up any "shroominess". Also, I may be acclimated to stevia since I use it everyday, but I will say that I do not notice any "stevia aftertaste" in this product. This shake offers 25 grams of protein per serving and 3 grams of carbs from natural sources. I find this to be a good "carbohydrate bargain" for my keto diet.I mix it in a shaker cup with room temp water. It dissolves fairly well but I have found that I need to repeat the shaking a few minutes after initially mixing in order to get everything fully dissolved. However, it does eventually dissolve and mix well. By the time I finish, there is no residue left at the bottom of my cup.My final thoughts are that this is a good product to use on a busy morning when you need to have something convenient, easy and portable for a breakfast "on-the-go".

A protein & mushroom/herb blend with decent taste
I've recently been trying out two Wild Society whey protein powders: this one, and the citrus punch variety. Apart from the flavor, the aspect of the citrus punch variety that differentiates it from other products is its combination of protein with electrolytes. In contrast, this vanilla bean variety combines protein with reishi, cordyceps, and eleuthero. Reishi is a type of mushroom, cordyceps is a type of fungus, and eleuthero is also known as Siberian ginseng. I've experienced reishi, cordyceps, and eleuthero in other products, and I can detect them ever so slightly in the taste of this product (nothing negative about this whatsoever). This protein powder is the 43rd that I've tried in the past 3 years, and it's one of the better ones because the protein content is 25g per serving in contrast to the 20g to 22g range that I've typically seen in other products, it's naturally sweetened without using sugar (although 2g of sugars per serving is being introduced by one of the ingredients), and it mixes well without a shaker bottle. I've personally never noticed any benefits consuming reishi, cordyceps, or eleuthero, but every human body is different so I wouldn't be surprised if these ingredients provide a different experience for you. As for the citrus punch variety, the same reviewer commented that one of the negatives about this product is the "cost [of] $2.33-2.50/serving, above the average price point for boosted supplements (for example electrolytes are typically $1.00/serving, and protein can be $2-$5/serving)", but their reasoning seems off. First of all, at the current price of $34.99 for 15 servings the cost is actually $2.33 per serving. Second, this product doesn't provide electrolytes. It so happens that this reviewer copied and pasted what they wrote for the other product! The fact is that $2.33 per serving falls within the $2.00 to $5.00 per serving range, so I'm not sure what they're making noise about.
