I was skeptical.. There are a lot of various negative reviews on the many different handheld consoles you can get. We ended up purchasing 3 of this specific one and I'm beyond pleased!!My words of advice would be: Read the directions!!! It seems like it comes with no games on it, but a little reading will immediately show you that you need to insert the second SD card, and BOOM, we had 4,428 games instantly available on the handheld. Fast, awesome picture, and plenty of games for everyone to enjoy! We got these for my 8y.o and 4 y.o nephew and 7 y.o daughter... But my husband and I also had a blast playing around with them last night when making sure they work before gifting them for Christmas!

I’m very ROM and emulator savvy so I understand how it works it’s easy once you know what you’re doing but is kind of awkward to learn? If you don’t know anything about this kind of stuff I would still recommend if you like the regular games it comes with! And if you do know how these types of handhelds work 10/10 would recommend! It runs all my games amazingly my only personal issue is the gba fast forward isn’t very fast cause it’s got a different gba emulator than I’m use to but aside from that it’s amazing! I even got a second Ambernic handheld the RG505 so I can play 3ds and ps2 games on top of all the games this system runs I’m addicted!!! If I’m not working or recording music I’m GLUED to these things!!!!!! I see some people giving it bad reviews cause it had no games or didn’t have any games they wanted or liked. Well I can assure you it has games and if it doesn’t either they didn’t send you the second sd card, you lost the sd card unpacking it or you set it up wrong? Haha and you can add whatever games you want and even buy a bigger sd card to fit more games! On a side note my friend actually bought two of these awhile back and both he told me had no games or wouldn’t run anything and all I did was put the 2nd and card in and boom 4500 games just like that I even showed him how to put more games on it from his computer he really thought they were just broken and that he wasted $300 buying 2 of them and it’s funny to me cause he’s way more tech savvy than I am so I’m happy I could help him haha anyway this is my first review on literally anything ever in my entire life and it will probably be my only review on anything ever in my entire life cause that’s how much I love these things haha okay peace out

This was a Christmas gift for our grandson. This device is made very well, packed with so many cool games, it’s so much fun!! The seller is awesome, we had a minor sound issue and the seller helped us out right away! Great customer support! I’m thinking about getting one for myself!

I think you just downloaded apk on a SD card to be able to play the games as advertised

The RG353V is a lot of fun. Just remember when unboxing it, to look under the removable try to get the 2nd Micro SD card. The 2nd card has the games.There are a lot of game categories going up until dreamcast, I love dreamcast. I added my favorites to the card with a laptop on my own.I have had no luck getting any of the pre-installed N64 games to work, so I am sure I'll have to replace those all on my own.I have connected a Mini-hdmi cable to have it play on a TV. Make sure the cable is connected.Connecting Bluetooth controllers worked well, it just won't be player 1 as far as my experience. Player one is the physical controller built into the device.If you have experience with ROMS and emulators, this will be a lot of fun.

As someone with fond memories of games of the past, but not enough interest or time to dive into the world of emulation, this was a convenient find. Easy to start, relatively easy to work with. The games included are vast, but many of them are from Japan, and don't include many Nintendo games (for legal reasons, I believe). But, all in all, easy to use, easy to play. The screen is big enough, and the sound quality is good. Looking on the internet for suggestions, I realize I am just scratching the surface, but that is ok for this retro-gaming rookie.

Just buy an old game boy this thing is not worth the hastle. Was excited to get my hands on this only to be extremely disappointed. 4000 mostly undesirable games pre downloaded none of which you can save gameplay. Have now spent even more money trying to make this piece of junk work. Regret this purchase 10/10.
