I think the question is ---are the buttons RE-recordable, meaning can you record OVER the recording that you previously recorded on the same button. I've not bought a kit yet but I'm planning to buy the Tester Kit tonight to see if my cat is smart enough or is even interested in learning to communicate. So I have read about them extensively. I read that YES you can RE-record over a previously recorded sound button. I hope that helps.
