Highly rated and I see why! Great heater!
Wow! Amazing heat and nice features! I live in an old loft with brick walls and concrete floors and this unit provides noticeable heat in my fairly large living room area. Quiet? I can barely hear it at all. Heat distribution? Effective and I can feel a good breeze seated about 10-11 feet away. Love the appearance and the remote has good range. I may well buy another one!

Great Heater – Read This Before You Return It
Great Heater – Read This Before You Return It There’s a lot going on with the settings on this heater. I’m not sure why blowing cold room air is a feature they included on a heater, but who knows I may need it someday. I fought with the H5, F3 settings and could not figure this heater out. It kept either shutting off or just blowing cold air. Finally, I went with the basic setting. Turn it on, go to temperature, arrow up and put it on 85 or 90, what have you and just leave it alone. Seriously, don’t keep checking to see what it’s doing, just set it and walk off. Set oscillation however you want. This heater senses the room temp (so don’t stash it back next to a bookcase) put it where it can get good airflow. It will come on and off automatically, adjusting both the heat level and the fan speed. When it kicks into high gear, I get warm airflow about 10 feet away. I was nice and toasty all day and night and this thing is whisper quiet. I think it has meh instructions and too many irrelevant manual settings, too short a cord for a unit that has to be plugged into the wall directly, but overall I’m pleased with this purchase. One day I may try to figure out the H5/F3 and if it will heat, or why it’s not (maybe I had the temp set too low?) I don’t know. Like you, I just wanted to be warm. Set the temp degrees, set the oscillation, and leave it be.

Finally retired my 10-year-old Lasko… the Dreo 30" tower is on another level
I’ve been a die-hard Lasko ceramic tower guy for over a decade — same model, same routine winter ritual. That thing finally gave up this year and I decided to “upgrade” to the Dreo 30" with the remote and 180° oscillation. Holy cow, I didn’t realize how much I was missing. The difference in temperature control is night and day. My old Lasko basically had two settings of “off,” “sauna,” and “wind tunnel.” The Dreo actually holds whatever temperature you set — no more waking up at 3 a.m. roasting or freezing. It keeps the air moving gently across the entire master bedroom (about 400 sq ft) without ever feeling stuffy or overly hot in one spot. The 180° swivel is genius. I can point it toward the bed when I’m sleeping, then swing it toward the sitting area in the morning without getting out from under the covers. it cycles on and off and still keeps the room rock-steady at 70 °F. Build quality feels premium, tip-over and overheat protection give peace of mind, and it’s whisper-quiet on low/medium (I fall asleep to it every night). Yeah, it costs a little more than the basic Lasko, but it is worth it, IMHO. My only regret is not buying this thing sooner. If you’re on the fence, just do it. This Dreo tower spoiled me — I’ll never go back to a basic oscillating heater again.

Good little heater
This is the third heater I’ve tried. One bought at Walmart (forgot the name, sorry!) and one purchased here on Amazon (Gaiatop is the brand). This one I’ve had a few weeks and so far, it operates as promised and keeps my four season porch quite happy! It promised a thermostat as did the other two but this one actually WORKS to keep the temp steady. It’s quiet, sleek and warms the area fairly well. Though the price seemed high (to me anyway at $90) it does a good job of heating my 6’x25’ space. (NOTE: The porch was recently enclosed with windows and sliding doors.) They promised it would insulate the once outdoor space, but it is still cold out there in the winter months here in Texas. Now I find I’m able to spend more time in my new space thanks to this heater. I will update if things change but so far it’s going a good job!

It does what it’s advertised to do.
This was a great purchase. The unit performs as advertised. When my large room is 54 degrees and it’s 28 outside it will heat up the room to 64 degrees in about 10-15 minutes. This is at the warm setting, not hot. A hard task to do since I have very large vertical windows all along two walls. No insulation in the walls. I have had two other heaters that could not do that. Fan is relatively quiet but can be heard across the room. It will rotate side to side, another benefit and it seems solidly built. A win, win for colder areas. I have yet to try it when it gets in the teens outside. But I have the hot setting to go to…so not too worried. BTW I tried an oil radiator heater and it didn’t do the job. Now if both are in the room…. The hotter air circulating will actually make the room hot.

Nice, Quiet Space Heater that Doesn't Take Up A Lot of Room
This Dreo Space Heater includes safety features, good durability and functionality that really provides excellent heating of large rooms from a small size, light-weight design. It is definitely a good value and is easy to use from your easy chair with the fully-adjustable, hand-held remote control.

Disappointed!
Rarely return items but this heater was not effective. Nice & sleek with great features including oscillation but heat output is inadequate. Air flow is weak even standing right in front of it on highest heat level. I would be very surprised if it heats a large room, maybe a small bathroom with door closed.

Great product
Works great, easy to see controls. I bought the oil filled type, same brand and it was terrible. They used black controls on a black surface and I had to use my phones flashlight to see them. This one has controls that are lit up and puts out a lot of heat and is very quiet.

Bought this to replace a noisy 1500w Honeywell ceramic heater, which was reliable and built to last, but simply too noisy with only 2 heat levels (low/high). While this was expensive for a space heater, it comes cross as premium build quality and I would say the extra features are worth it. It's ultra quiet, gives off great heat even at level 2 or 3, so you don't have to run it at 1500w. It has multiple heat levels and fan speeds (Low-speed: 700W (~5.83A), Medium-speed: 900W (~7.5A), Medium: 1100W (~9.17A), Medium-high: 1300W (~10.83A), High: 1500W (~12.5A)), so you won't trip your breaker if you're using other electrical devices (TVs, computers, etc.). I can comfortably run it at level 1 or 2 in a 150-200 sq/ft room and it's barely audible (probably around 25db). If you plan to use it for a larger room and your residence doesn't have good insulation, you might have to run it at level 3 or possibly high, but it's still much quieter than a traditional budget ceramic heater. When run at level 5, if you're sitting 10 ft away from it, you can feel the breeze and warm air, which gives a good idea of how effective it will be at warming a large room. Also, built in oscillation allows you to switch from 30 degrees to 120. It has a bunch of other settings like tip over protection, timer, child lock, etc. but I don't use those myself. Looks great as well. Can definitely recommend, just hoping it's build to last.

Possibly the best space heater out there. It’s very quiet, it has 5 modes (H1 to H5) that uses different wattage (starts at 700w to 1500w) so you can choose the strength. Or you can use the eco mode where you set the temperature and there’s also a fan-only mode. It’s heavy so it doesn’t topple easily. It’s also very quiet, you can barely hear it. There’s a mute option so you don’t have to hear the beeping when switching temps/modes etc. It also oscillates and you can choose between 60 degrees and 90 degrees. The heat output even in the lowest setting reaches far and it’s actually taller than I expected (around 1.5 meters I think). Overall a great heater, I’ve been using it during -15 weather in Toronto and I haven’t used H4-H5 modes yet!

I didn't give it a 5 only because it's not -10 to -40 Celsius yet. That's when the real test begins. This heater blows a lot of heat and it's so quiet that I don't even realize it's on. I stopped buying oscillating fan heaters years ago because they were noisy and just seemed to blow and push drafty, cool air. I'm trying this one mainly because of the 'large room' description, the height and its functions. During the past five windy, rainy, 4 Celsius days, in an 18'x15' living space, this heater has been working well at levels H1 and H2 (there are 5). However, I don't know if it'll maintain the whole area at 21-22 Celsius, even after I winterize the windows and patio door. It is heavy so it may not easily tip over. When the heater was hot I laid it on the floor, it beeped about five times, the cool fan ran for 30 seconds, then it shut off. Now, the remote. The surface is smooth with very pale greyish symbols on an all-black surface, rather than a visible highlight colour. I use the heater mostly in the evening and until I memorize where the functions are, I'll have to shine the light from either my cellphone or laptop screen, or turn a light on to find the symbols. So far I like everything about the heater. If it doesn't heat the whole area, I'll purchase a second one to place closer to the exterior wall area.
