I like a capri length pant for summer when wearing shorts is not suitable. I have become adapted to wearing stretchy athletic type shorts and t-shirts most days when I take care of my 17 month old grandson. Far more comfortable attire than what I wore before retirement. We also play around a small pool and water pants so I often get a little wet. These pants dry quickly, are lightweight and have good pockets for keeping my phone on me. I hate taking pictures, but it is the best way for others to gauge how these pants will fit. I am 5'2" and around 200 lb. I used the sizing chart and felt that I fell between XL and 2XL. I ordered XL and it is a smidge tight around the waist, but not uncomfortable even when sitting or bending so I don't think I would have sized up. I have not washed them, but so far I like these a lot and may get a second pair in another color.

I absolutely love these swim capris! They're incredibly lightweight and thin, perfect for hot weather, without being see-through. While they do cling a bit in the water, it's not a dealbreaker for me, as they're not designed as surf shorts.What I truly appreciate is how flattering they are. While I won't say that these are *flattering* I do feel that they are very comfortable and a great addition to any shy Mom's collection. I had never seen swim capris before and could not resist the temptation of these. I am on the chunky side and can definitely be on the shy side when it comes to running around in a bathing suit. We like to have waterballoon and gun fights in our yard, so I often just deal with drying my regular hiking shorts afterward. Not anymore! Now I can run around in a suit that is actually made for the water and still feel covered. The waist fits perfectly, but the legs are a bit on the larger side, giving them a bit of a baggy feel.

I can see that these Capri pants would be perfect for swimming, although I can't see myself ever using them for that purpose when a swimsuit is so much more practical. They fit perfectly, and the one zippered pocket would be perfect for holding your key or small waterproof items should you decide to go swimming in them. I wear them simply as Capri pants and they are ideal for my purposes. The material wicks the moisture away and is quite cool to wear, even on hot days. I highly recommend.

These are definitely one of a kind, very comfortable and looks great. They are definitely quick dry and work great for the purpose.
