Old school cool.
It’s funny the only way kids nowadays will really use phones like this is playtime. This one looks and feels like a real phone, but it has the kids numbers and sounds. The batteries were easy to install and it comes with screws to hang it. Cute little phone, we shall see how long it lasts.

Love this toy phone.... but VERY loud when sound effects play up to your ear
The media could not be loaded. Potatomato toy phone is so cute and realistic, like the phones I used to use. Such a great concept to have an easy to use phone that helps children with numeral identification and the alphabet song. Everything I love as a Pre-K teacher! We have real cell phones in the classroom to use and they are played with every day. Kids LOVE to make pretend phone calls. They call the babysitter, they order pizza, they call 911 to report fires, they practice phone skills constantly during play time. This toy is so well done and designed. I hope my students don't pull hard on the cord. The directions say take care not to. I will give instructions on how to take care of this toy before letting kids use it. I love that it can be mounted like a real phone to a busy board or wall. I did note that when vertical it isn't as easy to hang up and stay in. Much more likely to be dropped when vertical- a lot. Just love the concept of this pretend play toy. What a great addition to any early childhood classroom dramatic play space. This phone only has one downfall that I noticed. It is extremely loud. The voice is well done and clear, the song is excellent. All the sound effects are superbly done but it is SO loud in my ear. I will have to instruct students not to put it up to their ear and push the buttons. I am afraid it might damage their hearing over time. When in their hand and not up to their ear the volume is a little loud but just about right. This phone can be heard from a distance surely. I will test this out in the classroom and see how it performs with my 24 four year old students.
