Purity Cosmetics 100% Pure Organic Moisturizing Body Lotion, Virgin Coconut, 8 Oz

I have sensitive skin and I have allergies to a lot of ingredients. I have tried brand after brand and I am so thankful to have found this moisturizer. It conditions skin for hours after use and I have no break outs. The ingredients are exactly what is promised, Pure.

I have sensitive skin & have searched and searched and tried many many different lotions and creams and none of them would keep my dry skin rashes away. Then I found this lotion. It has ended my search for good. My dry skin rash is cleared up leaving my skin smooth and soft. This lotion is thick and creamy, absorbs well and has a delicious smell. I've used it mostly every day for over a year now and still love it! It doesn't take a whole lot- takes me awhile to go through just one bottle. I have given it as a gift to my sister and now she is hooked. She says no other lotion helps her like this one!! Thanks so much 100 Percent Pure for making such a great lotion!

I tried this lotion because I am trying to only use products that do not contain harmful or potentially harmful "mystery" chemicals like paraben or sulfides. It's made of organic matter from plants and I can identify nearly every ingredient on the label.I am really impressed with the lotion; other organic lotions I tried didn't seem to have the same moisturizing power that chemically laced lotions do. This lotion comes out of the tube light and fluffy and has decent coverage when applied. My skin is rather dry and I have keratosis pilaris (those little bumps on the upper arms/thighs); this lotion stands up to that. And my favorite part - NO RESIDUE! No greasiness and seems to absorb quickly.The smell of this particular blend is a bit more on the "burnt almond" side but I don't find it unpleasant. The smell is not overpowering like some perfumed lotions, and is more natural.Overall, after years of trying every brand, from cheap stuff to Aveno to Body Shop and boutique farmers market creations, this is my favorite lotion I've ever had.

I have used this product for years, absolutely loving it for its strong coconut fragrance!! It's been my go-to lotion. It now appears that, for whatever reason (probably cost effective for the company) they've changed the formula, and there is virtually NO coconut in it! Comparing the labels of the previous tube to the new one: Tube 1- second line of ingredients reads "Coco Nucifera (coconut oil); and again on the 5th line of ingredients, "extracts of Cocos Nucifera. Tube 2 (new tube) - The single mention of Coconus Nucifera extract is the VERY LAST INGREDIENT!!! I called the company (100% Pure), and they confirmed that the formula had in fact been altered, although they couldn't give me a reason! Not only does the new version not smell anything like coconut, it also smells HORRIBLE! This lotion has never been a bargain price-wise, but it was absolutely wonderful. I will never buy it again, and am writing this as a warning to anyone who thinks they're buying a lotion for the coconut fragrance....because there isn't any!!

Wow, its smells so goood, but I don't really smell coconut. Let's start with the packaging, I like that its simple, plastic container with a flip top. As I opened it, the consistency is creamy but not too thick like those heavy creams (which I do not enjoy), its a rich lotion. I also like that its not greasy. The smell, the initial smell, to me, it smelled like the popcorn butter from the movie theater!! LOL. Then as I applied it, I could smell cocoa butter. Its a sweet smell, but not too much coconut. I usually use Trader Joe's Coconut Body Butter, that smells like coconut. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, its like a sweet treat after a long day of work! :)
