Surprisingly effective
We're spoiled with some of the really pricy brands of coolers, but we wanted something a little compact with a handle, and after reviewing dozens of models from many brands, we settled on this one.And we couldn't be more thrilled!Despite significantly less insulation and a known-inferior manufacturing process, this cooler really holds up to the more expensive brands at a really reasonable price.Igloo really aren't the best, they're just really prolific, and I've never had stellar performance from any of them over the last few decades. However, this one is simply excellent! It handles 1:2 ice:drink ratios on day trips in the southern summer sun like a breeze, and even managed to keep chilled <40F for a week at a 1:1 ratio in moderate heat! (Without pre-chilling it, no less!)This is a solid performer for what it is, and if you're just going to be out for a few days, this cooler can handle the heat! It's also really strong. No bending or warping even using it as a stool for a 230lbs adult. Not sure what Igloo did differently with this model, but I'm very impressed!Wish it had rubber feet. Might add some with Shoe Glue, but it's not a big deal, as it doesn't really slide around. We haven't done any, but check YouTube for some hacks that folks are doing to improve its performance even further.

Awesome Cooler At Fraction Price of Yeti
I give myself high-fives and pats on the back every time I use this. This product has really made me question why Yeti charges an arm and a leg for their products. After our ice melted in less than 1.5 days in a budget Coleman cooler last year while camping, we knew we needed to upgrade our coolers. We needed both a larger and a smaller cooler since they each have their best applications. With our larger cooler, I decided to go with an RTIC cooler. Though cheaper than Yeti, RTIC coolers are still expensive compared to Igloo. For our smaller cooler, I decided to give this a try after reading all the positive reviews.... AND SO GLAD I DID! (high-fiving self)Compared to the RTIC, this cooler was nearly comparable in retaining ice. Did the ice melt faster? Yes, but I believe only due to its size and volume of ice inside. Ever wonder why you get sooooo much ice when you order a drink when out at a restaurant or at the bar? One reason is to slow down the melting of the ice so that you don't end up with a watered down drink before you take your first sip.We took this cooler down to the shore last August and it easily retained the ice for 2 days in the shade with temperatures in the upper 80s. It could have lasted much longer, but our daughter decided to dump her milk in it. We have also used this cooler on day trips and left it in our truck while hitting the outdoors. Using three ice packs, it has sat in our truck for over five hours in the sun with the outdoor temperature in the mid 80s. Despite our truck heating to above 100 degrees inside, the ice packs remained completely solid and our food and drinks remained nice and cold. (another self high-five)This is an awesome little cooler, and when you factor in price... this is hands down the best value out of the coolers that I have purchased. Even better... we purchased this through Amazon Warehouse in Like New condition and saved even more. (high-fiving self again)The only negative I have is the weight. For its size, it is fairly heavy because of the wall-thickness used for insulation purposes. Loaded with ice and frosty drinks, you won't want to carry this long distances.Do not let the Igloo brand fool you. Maybe you won't look "cool" like people with a Yeti... but your wallet will look cooler with more money in it at the end of the day.

No drain plug???!!!!
Biggest con: no drain!Biggest pro: everything else. This cooler, albeit on the smaller size, is super sturdy, keeps in the cool for days and looks good too!It is sturdy to sit on too.It fits perfectly behind the either of the front seats of my 2022 RAv4 Prime, so camping or an impromptu car excursion is now a joy with his cooler!I don’t put ice in it but those blue square frozen blocks, so the absence of a drain plug isn’t a big deal - yet.Once I start using ice though? I might regret my purchase then….Still, this little cooler certainly deserves 5 stars, even without a drain plug.

Best bang for the buck!
Excellent cooler for the money! Why buy a yeti for $230 when you get this for $60! Does the same job. Very study and makes an excellent bench while taking a break. For all my fishermen friends you can stand on this for casting and it has a fish ruler up to 16 inches on the lid. A truly awesome cooler for the money. I use it for boating. The handle is comfortable but not metal like the yeti. There is no drain plug but who cares just tilt it and drain it. The cooler is lightweight and well insulated and sturdy. I have zero complaints at this price point. I would say this is the best cooler in its price category and forgot to mention if tipped over will not open if the rubber latches are secured. The rubber latches are very easy to use. I tried Walmart’s version Ozark and could not stretch the latches to secure it. That killed the sale on the Ozark for me! You can find this cooler between $60 & $70 on Amazon. Other websites wanted $95. I hope this review helps your decision on purchasing it. Best bang for the buck.

Affordable, unlike most in its class. No drain hole.
My friend had a list of pros-and-cons on numerous coolers and this one ended up being the most affordable for its materials and size and was competing against coolers 3-4x its price. It will be perfect for our travels. However it does not have a drain hole so that will influence many buyers but I am happy to pour out the top given the $$ I saved purchasing this model. The silver metal is purely for show - it has no practical application as far as I can tell. It kept everything completely frozen on the small trips I've used it for thus far. The four corners have holes for latch systems which enable me to hoist it up into tree for bear country. The latches are also animal resistant. It is not rated for dry ice. The handle is comfortable for me to carry by myself (a woman).

Fantastic highly recommend….Still had some ice cubes left after 4 days.
Great bit of kit, took it away for 4 days opening and closing it about 10 times a day and on the last day things were still really cold, food fresh. Delighted with it!

Hefty, Well Built
Feels hefty and well built. The walls are also thick. Will try it out with 2 bags of ice over the next several days.UPDATE: Left it in 34°c sheltered patio with 2 bags of 2.5 kg ice (one below, one above), first bag below melted within 24 hrs, second bag lasted 1 day plus (there was only 1/2 an ice cube left!)Drinks were cold, small bag of meat didn't survive. We opened it about 15 times. Will prob fill up all empty space and have a piece of insulated cloth / aluminum foil on top the next time.

Screws come off the hinges
Love the aquamarine colour. Good sized cooler box that keeps drinks cold. This would have been 5 stars if not for the hinges. Screws came off quickly and repeatedly despite screwing them back in
