As an Avid Coffee Drinker, I've tried the K-Cup Adapters and they just don't work as well as I would like. The thought occured to me to see if "blanks" were available and came across the Ifillcup and order the 42 count and I'm delighted at how very good these items perform. The advertising suggests up to 5 uses per item. Well, I ran my first Ifillcup for 5 rounds and it performed like a champ. I have a few "bougie" brands coffee for the Mr. Coffee when I run out of K-cups and used them on the Ifill and was very pleased. It really opens up variety and quality based on your tastes and budget. Just treat them with care and a gentle rinse and dry and I think you'll enjoy the product.

Typically I purchased pods each week but there are those days that I forget and I always keep a can (yes you heard me, a can) of coffee so these come in handy. You simply just add your ground coffee and close. The lid snaps and I love these because the grinds don't come out. You will just have the water seeping through them to give you your coffee. I kind of over fill a bit because I like a strong cup. If you do that as well, close it over your garbage or sink so you don't have to clean up. It's also awesome because you get quite a bit in the pack and they don't expire. They last for a long time. I've already purchased these twice.

First off, let me say these pods make the best cup of coffee. I find that overfilling them slightly makes a better cup. Initally, I bought a set of 12 and was able open and reuse the pods (three times was about the limit). The lid had a notch that allowed for easy opening. I decided to purchase a set of 48 figuring this would be a significant cost savings. Unlike the first set that I purchased, the lid does not have a notch and opening the pods for reuse is very difficult. In fact, because they were so difficult to open, I damaged the first two and needed to throw them out. I realized that the pods must be opened hot since the seal between the cup and the top is more pliable. It’s unfortunate that they did away with the notch in the top since trying to open the pods when they’re hot is a bit tricky. I was going to leave three stars but the pods make such good coffee that I gave them four stars.

I like the quality and coffee from these pods. However, it is a misnomer to call these 'reusable '. The glue holding the layers together activate with heat, making the lid all but impossible to open up to empty clean and reuse. I did get the first one open, reused it, and it pretty much just fell apart while trying to open it again. While I love the pod for its ability to hold more ground coffee, I find it too expensive for a single use filter, and calling it reusable up to 5 times is just flat out fantasy. Up to 5 times? You mean like once? Coffee tastes great from it. It can be used only once. Cleaning? Why? Just throw it away. Trying to open ruins your day. Money saving? 48 cents per pod. I think kinda price. Would not buy again.
