LION Cookie Cutter 4 in. B1217X

Cute cutter and works well! I ordered this because I teach school and our mascot is lions. I needed a "serious lion" as opposed to a "cute lion". I have not used it for sugar cookies yet but it worked wonderfully to cut out fondant lions for a retirement cake I made.

Very cute. My only complaint is you have to maneuver a bit to get the tail to come out of the cookie cutter. I did find that using a chop stick helped. Then I flipped the cookie and baked it so the small indent did not show.

My grandchildren love it.

The cookie cutter was a little smaller than I thought and an experience cookie maker told me that the tail was too thin to be practical for baking a sugar cookie,... that it would be prone to break. Otherwise, the cookie cutter looks as pictured.

While the length of this cookie is shown (4"), the rest is too narrow to decorate! It's barely an inch across in the body. It's poor quality for the price.

The Aslan cookies turned out just fine for our Narnia themed party.

Excellent cookie cutter! However, be careful not to put many at once onto a cookie sheet, or else you will have formless blobs instead of lions! A little difficult to get the paw and tail to stay when getting dough out of the cookie cutter, but the blunt end of a utensil does the trick.
