The media could not be loaded. Aesthetic, sturdy, affordable, functional, gets the job done. Note - I like that the book is angled a bit, making it so that the pages are held down well.

I like this better than I thought I would. It looks very nice on the desk; not like just another piece of clutter. My kids use it to hold open books that they're quoting passages from for their essays. They are both happy with it. It makes the chore much less of a hassle. I'm very happy with the look, cost, and quality.

The wood is light weight, the wood burn finish look is fine, and the wood grain texture varies on depth. I will probably sand it down to even out the grain so it's all the same and smooth, then stain and seal. It's holds my cookbooks just find. I also feel like it will hold lego instruction books pretty well.

This works exactly as expected. I have it on my counter holding up a cook book and it works for larger books very well. The quality is good and it took 2 seconds to setup out of the box.
